1.                                Introduction

In the original game, Roger Wilco sucessfully travelled to the starship Deltaur
and defeated a vicious enemy named Sludge Vohaul. In Space Quest II, Vohaul has
moved from the Deltaur to his new home on an asteroid, where he waits for
Wilco. Before Wilco gets to the asteroid he gets kidnapped by aliens and taken
to the mysterious forest planet of Labion, where he must navigate through the
maze of a strange plant, find his way through a murky swamp, and avoid a
monster while swinging on a vine at the bottom of a cliff.

2.                                Walkthrough

XENON ORBITAL STATION 4

The game starts outside the station. LOOK at the WATCH and press C. Press F10
to put away the watch. Walk into the red airlock on the ceiling. Walk to the
left suit and GET the SUIT. OPEN the LOCKER. GET the CUBE. GET the JOCKSTRAP.
Walk west. Walk onto the platform and enter the transport tube. Enter the ship.
Roger will be kidnapped and the ship will crash on the planet Labion.


LABION

GET the KEYCARD. Walk over to the ship and PUSH the BUTTON. Walk north. Hide
behind the big tree and wait for the enemy ship to pass over. Go up the hill
and walk west. MAIL the ORDER FORM and GET the WHISTLE. Fall off the cliff. GET
the SPORES. Walk north. Move carefully through the maze and SAVE whenever Roger
gets to a safe spot. GET the BERRIES after leaving the maze. Go back through
the the maze and then walk east twice. UNTIE the ROPE. Walk west. Go up the
hill and walk east. Walk near the edge of the swamp and RUB BERRIES ON SELF.
Walk east. Go to the deep part of the swamp (where Roger starts to swim) and
TAKE A BREATH. Follow the underground tunnel west to reach the cave.

Walk out of the water and GET the GEM. Walk back into the water and TAKE A
BREATH. Follow the underground tunnel east back to the swamp. Walk east twice.
CLIMB the TREE. Walk east to get caught by the hunter and taken to the cage.
CALL the HUNTER twice and he will approach the cage. THROW the SPORE. GET the
KEY. UNLOCK the DOOR. OPEN the DOOR and leave the cage. GET the ROPE. Walk
north and west twice. GET ON the LOG. Move to the middle of the log and TIE the
ROPE TO the LOG. CLIMB DOWN the ROPE and move to the bottom of the rope. SWING
on the rope. SAVE the game. When the monster tries to grab Roger, wait for the
rope to swing back over to the left and then press F6 to jump off.

Walk west into the cave. Walk to the dark part of the cave and HOLD the GEM.
Walk west and GET the GEM. Walk south. SAY THE WORD to reveal the ladder. Go
down the ladder. PUT the GEM IN Roger's MOUTH. Climb down to the bottom of the
ladder to enter a maze. Go east. Go down the first ladder. Go east at the first
tunnel. Go down the first ladder. Go east at the first tunnel. Go down the
first ladder. Go west at the second tunnel. Take the third ladder down. Go east
twice to exit the maze. Walk east and take the right fork to the whirlpool.

Swim east. Stay in the water and BLOW the WHISTLE to see the monster. Type
THROW CUBE AT MONSTER but don't press enter. Get out of the water and press
enter. Walk to the hole in the boulder and GET the ROCK. Walk north. SLING the
ROCK AT the GUARD. Walk to the elevator and PUT the KEYCARD IN the SLOT. Enter
the elevator. Walk to the bottom-left corner of the ship and OPEN the SHIP.
PUSH the POWER BUTTON. TURN the DIAL. PUSH the THRUSTER BUTTON. PULL the LEVER
and press any key. Wait until the ship leaves the planet and then press any
key again. TURN the DIAL. PULL the LEVER to travel to Sludge Vohaul's asteroid.


SLUDGE VOHAUL'S ASTEROID

Walk east and enter the elevator. Go to LEVEL THREE. Walk east three times.
Push the button and go through the doorway. GET the PLUNGER. Go back to the
hall hall and walk east twice. Enter the elevator and go to LEVEL FOUR. Walk
west twice. PUSH the BUTTON and enter the washroom. OPEN the toilet DOOR. GET
the PAPER. Exit the washroom and walk west twice. Enter the elevator and go to
LEVEL FIVE. Walk east twice. PUSH the BUTTON and go through the doorway. GET
the BASKET. PUT the PAPER IN the BASKET. GET the OVERALLS. GET the LIGHTER. Go
back to the hall and walk west twice. Enter the elevator and go to LEVEL ONE.

Walk west and go down the south stairs. Try to walk right and a barrier will
appear. Try to walk left and another barrier will come down. The floor will
then start moving, revealing a pit of acid below. Stay near the left wall until
the acid gets near to Roger, and then PUT the PLUNGER ON the WALL. Wait until
the floor covers the acid again and then LET GO OF the PLUNGER. DROP the BASKET
and SET FIRE TO the BASKET. Walk east twice and go upstairs. Sludge Vohaul will
put Roger in a glass case. CUT the GLASS WITH the GLASS CUTTER. Walk to the
vent and ENTER the VENT. PUSH the red BUTTON. EXIT the VENT. Walk west and PULL
the SWITCH. Stand on the keyboard and TYPE ENGLARGE to return to normal size.

Walk east and return to the glass jar. SEARCH VOHAUL. LOOK at the MONITOR and
type the password SHSR. Press F6 to exit the screen. Walk up the stairs. Go to
the red box and GET the MASK. WEAR the MASK. Walk along the tube to the
corridor. Walk east seven times. Type PUSH BUTTON but don't press enter yet.
Walk up to the first pod and press enter. The robot should immediately start to
follow Roger. Walk west four times and the robot will have stopped following.
Walk east three times. Type ENTER POD but don't press enter. Walk east. Quickly
move to the first pod and press enter. The robot will now ignore Roger. PUSH
the BUTTON. Type LOOK to see the interior. Walk to the sleep chamber and OPEN
the SLEEP CHAMBER. GET IN the SLEEP CHAMBER to complete the game.

BASKET
  Found on level five of Sludge Vohaul's asteroid. The basket is used to set
  off the sprinkler system.


BERRIES
  Found on the bush at the other side of the maze on Labion. They are used on
  Wilco to avoid the monster in the swamp.


CUBE
  Found in the locker of the airlock on Xenon Orbital Station 4. It is thrown
  at the monster after exiting the pool on Labion.


GEM
  Found in the cave under the swamp. It is put in Wilco's mouth to light the
  tunnel maze in Labion.


GLASS CUTTER
  Found on level four of Sludge Vohaul's asteroid. It is used to cut the glass
  container near Vohaul.


JOCKSTRAP
  Found in the locker of the airlock on Xenon Orbital Station 4. It is used to
  sling the rock at the guard on Labion.


KEY
  The hunter drops the key when the spore hits him. It is used to unlock the
  door of the cage.


KEYCARD
  Found on the guard after landing on Labion. It is used in the slope of the
  elevator on Labion.


LIGHTER
  Found on level five of Sludge Vohaul's asteroid. It is used to set fire to
  the basket.


MASK
  Found in the tunnel after Sludge Vohaul has been defeated. It is used to walk
  to the other side of the tunnel.


OVERALLS
  Found on level five of Sludge Vohaul's asteroid.


PAPER
  Found in the washroom on level four of Sludge Vohaul's asteroid. It is used
  in the basket.


PLUNGER
  Found on level three of Sludge Vohaul's asteroid. It is used on the wall to
  avoid the pit of acid.


ROCK
  Found in the hole in the boulder created by the monster. It is used to hit
  the guard on the bridge.


ROPE
  Found outside the cage near the hunter. It is used to climb down the log on
  Labion.


SPORES
  Found near the mail box on Labion. They are thrown at the hunter from the
  cage.


SUIT
  Found in the airlock on Xenon Orbital Station 4. It is used to walk outside
  the station.


WHISTLE
  Found after mailing the order form on Labion. It is blown in the pool before
  the monster on Labion.
