Q. Does Immortals run on Vista?
Yes. You must install the game into a different directory and the file name must have no spaces. For example if the folder name is Video Games, it should be changed to Video_Games or VideoGames.

Q. Is there a voice chat server for this game?
Yes! An Immortals USA Ventrilo has been set up to chat with other players in game. Please see the thread on forums for information about logging into the Ventrilo Chat.


Q. How do I change the color of text in game chat?
While in game, hit the escape key and then select Chat Options, you will be able to choose to type in any color you can create!


Q. How do I private message someone in game?
If you are standing next to the person, you can right click on their character and then select private chat. If you are not, you click on the yellow icon to the immediate right of the chat bar. Then click on private chat and you will be prompted to type in the name of the person you want to chat with. Type in their name and begin chatting.


Q. How do I change channels in game chat?
In the game click on the orange circle to the left of the chat bar and select from the menu one of the available options. You can chat in trade which goes to all players in the game, world which goes to your faction only (deity/human & demon/dragon), private, party which goes to your party, and guild which goes to people in your guild.


Q. Is there an MP3 player in this game?
Yes there is. To use the building Mp3 player in game, you will have to hit the Escape button, then go to Sound options, and click on "Play". There you will be able to set up your playlist in the game. *note, to be able to do this, you have to have WinAmp installed on your pc, which is free to download at www.winamp.com

Q. How many races are there?
There are four races in Immortals. You can be a dragon, human, deity, or demon

Q. How does PvP work in Immortals?
In Immortals the two factions are set up against each other. So Deities and Humans are on one team and Demons and Dragons on the other. Once you leave the beginner areas and enter the maps around the main city you can PvP members of the opposite faction. You can also duel members of your own faction. The towns are non PvP as are the hunting areas surrounding the beginning towns.


Q. Can I party with members of other races?
You can party with a member of another race as long as they are a member of your faction. Deities and Humans are on one team and Demons and Dragons.


Q. How do I get a pet?
To get a pet you acquire an Egg from a shop keeper in either Chang An or Dragon Ocean City. When you are a Level 20, you may incubate the egg by equipping it; this can be done by double clicking on it. In a few hours the egg will hatch and when you click on the pet menu you will discover you have a pet. You can feed and level your pet, eventually he will evolve and you will be able to ride your pet. As you feed your pet their attributes increase, which also increase your own. There are in depth guides on pet feeding on the forums.


Q. How do I get skills?
When you follow the main quest, after a few missions you will be able to learn your skills from the trainer associated with the class you chose.

Q. How do I get a shield?
A shield automatically accompanies a sword. Equip your sword and you will automatically have a shield.


Q. How do I get out of my starter town?
Complete the main quest and earn a city entrance pass. This can normally be accomplished by a level 15 ish character. There are in depth guides on the forums as to the specifics for doing this for each race.


Q. I am stuck on my quest, what do I do?

Q. I can't find an NPC, or Boss, or type of Monster, where do I look?

Q, How do I start a guild?
To start a guild you need to be lvl 50 or above, and get 10 members who are level 20 or above apply for the guild in the main cities at the guild manager within 48 hours. It will cost 50k to make a guild.


Q. How do I join a guild?
Go to the Guild manager in one of the main cities, and choose the 3rd option, to apply for a certain guild. The guild leader still has to approve this application.
