ABOUT
========================================================
This guide is to assist those players who enjoy collecting rare or
unique vehicles. This guide lists all known proofed, special property,
unique, and even rare vehicles (which often have to be unlocked). I'd
say more, but I pretty much just summed it up. Yes, this is the same
preamble as my other guides. Copy/paste FTW.

This guide is NOT a "rare car" guide. Vehicles that appear rarely, but
DO appear in free roam (such as Infernus) do NOT qualify for the scope
of this guide. Only cars that have some special feature such as proofing,
special paintjob, special features, or can only be acquired via missions
are included.

CAUTION! This guide may inadvertently contain spoilers of story missions!
While this guide's scope does not really involve spoiling anything, due
to what is required of it, the potential for small spoilers, such as
names or events is present. Just keep that in mind.

Whenever a mission is listed, the employer is listed in parentheses next
to it. I list missions by the person who's mission progress it counts
towards, NOT the name listed on the map.

*1* TERMS IN THE GUIDE
========================================================
This is a listing of all the special terms used in this guide.

BP - Bulletproof. This vehicle will not take damage from bullets. Windows
cannot be damaged, and shots will not count towards the car being
destroyed. Unlike the previous GTAs, tires are apparently also immune to
 being popped by gunfire.

FP - Fireproof. This vehicle will not catch fire or otherwise take damage
from molotovs. Tires can still catch fire unfortunately.

EP - Explosionproof. This car is immune to explosive damage, such as
from grenades, rocket launchers, or exploding cars. Does not stop the
car itself from exploding if somehow critically damaged.

DP - Damageproof. This car cannot be damaged by bashing it around (into
other cars, walls, etc.) or by melee attacks (unproven). The car will
still take cosmetic damage, such as dents and scrapes (even to the point
of impeding functions, such as a wheel well being destroyed).

CP - Comprehensiveproof. This combines the qualities of bulletproof,
 fireproof, explosionproof, and damageproof.

UJ - Unjackable. Now that even locked cars can be jacked by breaking the
windows, UJ means that Niko will simply refuse to break the windows and
get in. Even breaking the windows anyways, he still refuses to open the
 doors.

Confirm - To confirm a car is to return to it after finishing the mission
where it is obtained, BEFORE saving, to make sure it won't vanish. The
parking spots save vehicles during missions, but unless it is reloaded
into the game's memory and saved AFTER a mission, it won't be permanently
saved. This only applies to vehicles stored in a parking spot prior to
 finishing a mission.

Jack - To jack a vehicle means to steal it. This is probably not a
necessary entry, but I figured I'd add it just in case.

Unique - This vehicle is unique and found in story missions only, or other
limited-time availability missions, and thus can be missed altogether.

Double-drive - Double-driving is used in some vehicle strategies. It
involves driving two vehicles at once back to your safehouse. One is
the special vehicle you're trying to obtain, the other is a vehicle
some important person from the mission is in, and if you go too far
 away, you will fail.

You essentially drive one car partway towards the destination (usually
a parking spot), then get out and drive the other a bit farther, and
repeat ad nauseum. Slow, but guaranteed to work, as long as you don't
put too much distance between them. You don't risk failing the mission,
but rather the vehicle you're trying for may vanish.

If one vehicle is powerful enough to push the other, you can do that
 instead to expedite the process.

Hybrid Grill - This is a rather specialized term. Some PMP 600s in a few
missions (check the vehicle list for which have it) have a special
"hybrid" style grill not seen with other PMP 600s. It is called hybrid
because it's a cross between the normal grill (a lot of vertical bars),
and the "Mafia" PMP 600 grill (a few vertical bars with a mesh backing).
The hybrid grill has a lot of vertical bars and the mesh backing.

So far, the PMP 600 is the only vehicle known to have a completely
different grill used only in story mission vehicles (with no pattern at
 that).

Tuner - A "tuner" car is a special modified version of the vehicle,
usually adding spoilers and other modifications. These often come in
only one color. They still have the same name as the base vehicle, so a
tuner Sentinel is still labeled "Sentinel" in the game. A lot of tuner
cars in this game are NOT "unique," but found randomly on the street
(albeit rare at times), and thus will not be included in this guide
 unless otherwise warranted.

Prime - To "prime" a vehicle means to either get in one, or summon one
somehow. The point is to get it into the game's active vehicle memory,
thus causing more to spawn. This is primarily used in acquiring an easy
Slamvan, but can also be used to get more of rare or unique vehicles.

Rare - This is used in the guide as an "unlockable" vehicle.

Unlockable - This term in my guide denotes a vehicle that is only
infinitely available either through story missions and/or by unlocking it
at some point through the story, whether by completing a mission,
finishing a side mission, or even a vehicle that is only available during
a side mission, but is repeatedly available by doing the mission over and
 over at your leisure.

Unobtainable - A vehicle that, for whatever reason, cannot be obtained
 and/or stored with its properties.

NOTE: During some missions, AI drivers that you chase are given "super"
stats: speed, acceleration, turning, etc, designed to ensure that you
cannot catch up to them until the game deems it okay (usually involves
the target reaching their destination intact). If you are in danger of
catching up or passing them (or if you take a shortcut to do so), they
hyper-accelerate to stay in the lead. They also tend to slow down and
"wait" for you if you fall too far behind, although they never stop
completely. This goes along with the fact such chases are usually
 scripted.

Discovered by - This is not necessarily the first person to discover
a vehicle, but rather the first person to report it to me. I will add
the original discoverer if I'm able to determine who originally found it,
 however.

Description - A description of unique color/feature vehicles and WHY they
 are unique.

Formulated by - This is who informed me of the strategy to obtain the
vehicle. Vehicles that were pointed out to be, but where I was given no
strategy to obtain it often lead to me developing the strategy, although
most will have the same entry for Discovered and Formulated by.

NOTE: Vehicles that are given to you (such as the Rich Yellow Comet) have
no strategy credits listed, as it is too simple to warrant credit. In
addition to this, I no longer list who created strategies when a vehicle
is easy to see and is made clear to you, such as if a target in a
mission drives it, meaning you must shoot them out. If anything more is
needed, including mission failure, credit will be mentioned however.

========================================================
*2* SAFEHOUSES AND PARKING SPOTS
========================================================
Places to store vehicles. When you load a game, all stored vehicles are
restored to top condition and health. Even destroyed vehicles will be
repaired, so long as you get the carcass of the vehicle into the spot.
Even Helicopters may be saved in parking spots. Each spot can hold two
vehicles maximum. Any more than two get deleted.

More than two cars can be stored in a parking spot on a temporary basis,
however. It will retain 3+ cars normally, however whenever you save and
reload the game, you will find only two cars remaining, chosen randomly
from any that were "in the space" at the time of saving.

Parking spots are ALWAYS available, even if you do not own the safehouse
yet. This includes Niko's old parking spots from safehouses in GTA4 that
are never available in TLAD.

It was brought to my attention by Matt J that a viable strategy for most
vehicles in missions is to park it in a parking spot, then commit
suicide. This will fail the mission and the vehicle will stay.

========================================================
*3* UNIQUE VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles only appear during story missions, and once the game is
completed, cannot be acquired without cheating.

---------
3.1 - Gang Burrito (1st of 3)
---------
Mission: It's War (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy: Several of these are at the battle sites you wage the war in.
Getting one is tedious, but easy. After finishing the first battle site,
double-drive a Gang Burrito and the Hexer to the Tudor parking spot, then
leave it there and finish the mission, confirming it before saving. Don't
wait for the second half of the mission to finish, otherwise you'll likely
fail before getting it to a parking spot, and after the mission is over,
even if the Gang Burritos don't vanish, they'll be UJ.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
3.2 - Gang Burrito (2nd of 3)
---------
Mission: Action/Reaction (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy: A couple of these surround the AOD clubhouse in this mission.
Double-drive one to a parking spot (Northwood preferably) with the Hexer
at the end. This is much more difficult than in It's War because you will
likely get stuck in the battle zone too long, giving you a wanted level of
two stars.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
3.2 - Gang Burrito (3rd of 3)
---------
Mission: Buyer's Market (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy: Brian drives this van during the mission, when he delivers the
heroin. After getting the heroin, chase after him and shoot him until he
dies. You'll fail for killing Brian, and the van can be driven to a parking
spot.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
3.4 - Prison Bus (1st of 2)
---------
Mission: Off Route (Tom Stubbs)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: gtalcvcsa (GameFAQs boards)

Strategy: This is the large bus you must capture during the mission.
Acquiring it, however, is somewhat difficult. The best way to go about it
(short of killing yourself with it in a parking spot) is to park it where
you want to store it, then find another vehicle (preferably fast, especially
in acceleration), then drop a grenade next to it as you zip by it. Normally,
parking spots eat destroyed cars, but if you can blow it up, failing the
mission, and get out of the area fast enough, when you return, it will
hopefully be sitting in the parking spot, fully repaired. This may take a
few tries, although the Middle Park East spot may be a good option.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
3.5 - Laundromat (1st of 2)
---------
Mission: End of Chapter (Jim Fitzgerald)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 1: Some of Brian's backup goons drive up in these vans throughout
the mission. Acquiring one directly can be difficult. Jack one and drive
it during the chase at the end of the mission. After finishing off the
enemies, if you're lucky enough to be far enough away from Jim to get the
"go to Jim" message, take it to a parking spot, then finish the mission
and confirm it afterwards.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Alternatively, drive the van during the chase and just finish
the mission. Although you lose the van when teleported back to the
clubhouse, you may find a van or two driving around the streets. Pick one
up and park it.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you
are driving one yourself. It is thus still unique, as unless you obtain
it in the missions it is available in, you won't see one elsewhere.

---------
3.6 - Regina
---------
Mission: Heavy Toll (Elizabeta Torres)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Flobba

Strategy: These are the escort cars for the Slamvan that is your target.
After dispatching all the enemies, double-drive one of these back to the
Bohan parking spot (right off the Bohan bridge exit) and leave it there,
then finish the mission. Confirm it before saving.
Formulated by: Flobba

NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you
are driving one yourself. It is thus still unique, as unless you obtain
it in the missions it is available in, you won't see one elsewhere.

---------
3.7 - Roman's Taxi
---------
Mission: Roman's Holiday (Ashley Butler)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy: Getting this requires some tricky dealing. After meeting up with
Malc, dial Roman's Cab number (Elizabeta texts it to you after a previous
mission - it is 555-2222), and Johnny will call for Roman to pick him up.
Once he gets there, you'll get in automatically. Get out and kill Malc to
fail the mission, then take it to a parking spot.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
3.8 - Prison Bus (2nd of 2)
---------
Mission: Get Lost (Tom Stubbs)
Difficulty: Damn near impossible
Required: The patience of a god
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy: This is parked in the parking lot of the prison, right after
busting in. Unfortunately, it is also UJ. The only chance to claim this
vehicle is on the way out of the prison. After leaving the compound and
your wanted level is gone, find a very large vehicle (a Patriot, or some
actual truck), drive back in, and begin pushing it out. You'll have to
double-drive the pushing vehicle and Johnny's bike until you push the
target vehicle into a parking spot (such as Brian's house's). For now,
this is purely theory, and has NOT been tested. If you manage to get it
there, be sure to confirm it if necessary.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
3.9 - Laundromat (2nd of 2) (Also Unobtainable, see 5.3)
---------
Mission: Get Lost (Tom Stubbs)
Difficulty: Damn near impossible
Required: The patience of a god
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy: Several of these are in the parking lot and surrounding yards in
the prison compound. Unfortunately, they are all UJ. The only chance to
claim this vehicle is on the way out of the prison. After leaving the
compound and your wanted level is gone, find a very large vehicle (a
Patriot, or some actual truck), drive back in, and begin pushing it out.
You'll have to double-drive the pushing vehicle and Johnny's bike until
you push the target vehicle into a parking spot (such as Brian's house's).
For now, this is purely theory, and has NOT been tested. If you manage to
get it there, be sure to confirm it if necessary.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you
are driving one yourself. It is thus still unique, as unless you obtain
it in the missions it is available in, you won't see one elsewhere.

========================================================
*4* SPECIALLY COLORED/FEATURED VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles all have some special color of feature that the vehicle
usually does not have. For possible luster colors of lustered vehicles,
consult the luster table in the terms section.

---------
4.1 - Magenta Diabolus (1st of 2)
---------
Mission: ...Clean and Serene (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: **
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal Diabolus with a bright magenta color to it.

Strategy: Jason drives this particular Diabolus. For those who didn't pay
attention to the opening movie, he's the one with shoulder-length smooth
black hair. Drive close to a parking spot (the Alderney parking spot for
Niko is a good option), lure his bike into it, then shoot him off. You'll
fail for killing Jason, but when you restart, the bike should still be
there.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.2 - Crimson Diabolus (1st of 4)
---------
Mission: ...Clean and Serene (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal Diabolus with a deep crimson color to it.

Strategy: This is Brian's Diabolus. For those who didn't pay attention to
the opening movie, he's the bald one with glasses. This one is given to you.
After the mission, three bikes are parked in the parking spot. Johnny's
Hexer, Billy's Revenant, and Brian's crimson Diabolus. Move one of the
other bikes (otherwise this one will vanish, and neither of them are
unique), and it's already parked for you! This is the only way to get this
bike without failing a mission.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.3 - Magenta Diabolus (2nd of 2)
---------
Mission: Angels in America (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal Diabolus with a bright magenta color to it.

Strategy: Again, Jason drives this motorcycle. He is one of three bikers to
tag along with you. Simply shoot him off his bike at the start, then take
it to the desired parking spot in peace and quiet.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.4 - Crimson Diabolus (2nd of 4)
---------
Mission: It's War (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal Diabolus with a deep crimson color to it.

Strategy: Once again, this is Brian's Diabolus. And once again, failing
the mission is the only way to get it. Shoot him off of it, and drive it
back to a parking spot.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.5 - Crimson Diabolus (3rd of 4)
---------
Mission: Action/Reaction (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal Diabolus with a deep crimson color to it.

Strategy: This is Brian's Diabolus once more. And once again, shoot him
off of it and take it to a parking spot to store it.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.6 - Black Yankee w/ light blue stripe
---------
Mission: Liberty City Choppers (Jim Fitzgerald)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A black Yankee with a light blue stripe along the side of the
cab. It also has a large open wood crate back.

Strategy: Jim takes you to this truck, to be used to collect motorcycles.
Instead of going to the mission destination, shoot and kill Jim after you
find this truck, then drive it to a garage. There are other components of
this truck that are not saveable, listed under 5.2 - Black Yankee w/ light
blue stripe and loading ramp in back
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.7 - Sky Blue Rhapsody
---------
Mission: Off Route (Tom Stubbs)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A Rhapsody colored sky blue.

Strategy: This car is provided at the start of the mission, across the
street from where you start. Drive it straight to a parking spot and
complete the mission as planned, confirming this before saving.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.8 - Crimson Diabolus (4th of 4)
---------
Mission: This Shit's Cursed (Billy Grey)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal Diabolus with a deep crimson color to it.

Strategy: This is Brian's Diabolus once more. And once again, shoot him
off of it and take it to a parking spot to store it. Getting old, huh?
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.9 - Black "Mafia" PMP 600 w/ hybrid grill
---------
Mission: Collector's Item (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades, and Swift (black) and Anderson (white)

Description: This is a normal looking Mafia PMP 600 (gloss black coloring,
and a small spoiler on the rear), except that it has a hybrid grill. The
description of the hybrid grill can be found in the list of terms in an
earlier section.

Strategy 1: These cars are parked outside of the Museum in various places,
most of which are to the sides and behind the museum. They're harder to
get to when escaping the building, but you should still be able to run to
one and jack it. The easiest ones are the ones used for cover right
outside the exit. Drive one to a parking spot, and if you want both
black AND white, come back and get the other (it should not have vanished,
so long as the mission is still unfinished). Confirm it before saving
afterwards.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Instead of waiting until the end, jack a car at the start and
park it, then complete the mission. If this method is used, be sure to check
up on the car before saving, to ensure it saved properly. The cars are
recalled as you leave the museum to attack you, and if you chose one of
those cars to park, they may have vanished.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.10 - White "Mafia" PMP 600 w/ hybrid grill
---------
Mission: Museum Piece (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Swift (black) and Anderson (white)

Description: This is the same as the Black "Mafia" PMP 600 with hybrid
grill, except that it is gloss white instead of black. This makes it an
all-around better prize.

Make sure to check on them
after finishing the mission, to ensure they were saved. Confirm it before
saving afterwards.

---------
4.11 - Bright Orange Infernus w/ black side stripe
---------
Mission: Knowing Me, Knowing You (Stubbs' Job)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: MrFloppay

Description: This Infernus has an orange color with a black stripe along
the side. The stripe is what really makes this special.

Strategy: The only way to get this car is to fail the mission. However,
failing it seems to render the vehicle UJ and forces Johnny to get out,
so make sure to fail with it in a parking spot already.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.12 - Bright Red Cognoscenti
---------
Mission: Phone Ho! (Stubbs' Job)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: MrFloppay

Description: A bright solid red Cognoscenti.

Strategy: The politician you're out to snap a picture of drives this.
After taking the pic, sending it, and successfully passing the mission
(the Mission End fanfare plays), jump off the roof and shoot the driver
of the car. Get in and drive to a parking spot.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------
4.13 - Dukes w/ missing hood scoop
---------
Mission: Communication Breakdown (Stubbs' Job)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A normal-looking Dukes with a missing hood scoop. Seemingly
a glitch of sorts, as the engine parts under where the scoop should be
seem blurry and lower-res, like the general texture of car engines in the
game. The other features of the car (such as a small rear spoiler) and the
color are random.

Strategy: This is the car the target uses. After the cutscene, he begins to
drive away, but as you're right next to it, whip out a gun and shoot him
dead. He should die within a couple seconds, before he can get any distance
away, so just take the car afterwards and drive it to a parking spot.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

NOTE: This car does not always spawn with the hood scoop missing! It seems
to only appear if the Dukes would've spawned with a hood scoop. Sometimes
it spawns without one entirely, which renders this non-special.

========================================================
*5* UNOBTAINABLE SPECIAL VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles are unobtainable for whatever reason is listed. This can
include any vehicle type from the previous three sections, but as they
cannot be acquired permanently, there is no need to put them in those
sections.

---------
5.1 - Gang Burrito (1st of 2)
---------
Mission: ...Clean and Serene (Billy Grey)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A large, black van that looks somewhat burnt out. Much bigger
than a normal Burrito. Has Angels of Death logos on the sides, and "Angels"
written on the back, all in white.

Unobtainable: It is UJ, and if you can't keep up with your gang, you fail
the mission.

---------
5.2 - Black Yankee w/ light blue stripe and loading ramp
---------
Mission: Liberty City Choppers (Jim Fitzgerald)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A black Yankee with a light blue stripe along the side of the
cab. It also has a large open wood crate back. This also has a loading
ramp in the back, used to load the bikes onto the truck during the mission.

Unobtainable: Although the truck itself IS obtainable, the version with the
loading ramp is not, as the ramp vanishes once a vehicle is saved. Even
though it still exists in the parking spot, as soon as the vehicle is
removed from active memory (load a game, or move too far away), when you
return, it will have vanished.

---------
5.3 - Gang Burrito (2nd of 2)
---------
Mission: Hit the Pipe (Jim Fitzgerald)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A large, black van that looks somewhat burnt out. Much bigger
than a normal Burrito. Has Angels of Death logos on the sides, and "Angels"
written on the back, all in white.

Unobtainable: Three of these are the targets in the mission, and must be
destroyed to finish. Parking spots will eat the destroyed van, even if
the Prison Bus strategy is employed.

========================================================
*6* RARE VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles aren't anything inherently special, but are nonetheless
unique for various reasons, often requiring completion of a mission or
side mission to unlock. These can all be obtained at the end of the
game without any problem.

---------
6.1 - Hexer
---------
Found 1: Spawns at the north entrance to the alley beside the Lost
Clubhouse every time the game is loaded.

Found 2: Call up Clay and use his perk (Bikes) to order one.

Found 3: Often provided at the start of, or at a significant point in
most missions, especially early on. You are able to keep it after almost
every mission to use it, required or not.

Description: A chopper, somewhat resembling a modified Freeway, with above
average stats (top speed, acceleration, turning, etc). Johnny's personal
Hexer has blue stripes, but others have different colors.

---------
6.2 - Blue Diabolus
---------
Unlocked: When Terry is available as a friend
Found: Terry drives this whenever he appears in a mission, as backup, or
as a friend. After going out, you can get on his bike instead of your own,
and keep it without incurring a loss in friendship or respect.

Description: A chopper, somewhat resembling a modified Hellfury. A decent
motorcycle overall. This particular bike has a flat blue color to it.

---------
6.3 - Purple Diabolus
---------
Unlocked: When Clay is available as a friend
Found: Clay drives this whenever he appears in a mission, as backup, or
as a friend. After going out, you can get on his bike instead of your own,
and keep it without incurring a loss in friendship or respect.

Description: A chopper, somewhat resembling a modified Hellfury. A decent
motorcycle overall. This particular bike has a flat bluish purple color
to it.

---------
6.4 - Police Maverick
---------
Found: Shows up as chopper support at 3-4 stars (5-6 has Annihilators
appear). Getting it can be difficult.

Strategy 1: Climb onto the rooftop of the Libertonian Museum via the
scaffolding round the back of the building. Once on the top, shoot at the
police and get a wanted level. When the chopper comes, position yourself
near the edge of the roof so the chopper hovers low over rooftop. When it
is low enough, snipe the pilot and if done right it will crash, spin a
little but remain there. Kill the NOOSE and take the chopper! Much easier
than forcing it to crash, and does much less damage with a higher rate of
success.
Formulated by: Pepe

Strategy 2: Sniping the pilot of the helicopter causes it to fall to the
ground. This will often result in the chopper being available to jack
without much trouble, as it often won't knock the tail or blades off.

---------
6.5 - Gang Burrito
---------
Found 1: Found in some Gang Wars, often as the target vehicle.

Found 2: In several missions it is present in, you may be able to drive it
back to a parking spot. Others don't give you this luxury, forcing you to
possibly push it back. In either case, failing the mission may be required.

Description: A large, charcoal black van with the AOD logo on the side.
Larger than a normal Burrito.

Missions the car may also be found in:
...Clean and Serene, It's War, Action/Reaction, Buyer's Market, Hit the
Pipe

---------
6.6 - Revenant
---------
Unlocked 1: After "This Shit's Cursed" (Billy Grey)
Found 1: Call up Clay and use his perk (Bikes) to order one.

Found 2: After the intro mission (...Clean and Serene) this will be one of
three bikes parked outside the Clubhouse. Move one of the other two and keep
it.

Unlocked 3: When races are available.
Found 3: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then
make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss),
then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die,
otherwise the bike is UJ.

Description: A medium-sized motorcycle, about halfway between a chopper and
a sports bike. It is notable for having solid chrome wheels instead of spokes
or some other setup. Billy's version of the bike is NOT unique, but rather,
one of the random colorings in its palette.

Missions the car may also be found in:
...Clean and Serene, Angels in America, It's War, Action/Reaction, This
Shit's Cursed

---------
6.7 - Slamvan
---------
Unlocked (1,2): When Terry's perk (Gun Van) becomes available
Found 1: Call Terry and request his Gun Van. He will show up in a Slamvan.
While this Slamvan is UJ, this also primes the Slamvan, allowing it to
spawn randomly in traffic. When this happens (it may take a while), collect
it and drive to a parking spot.

Found 2: If Terry's black Slamvan is preferable to regular ones that
spawn, finish buying weapons from him, then shoot him dead in his car.
Proceed to push it into a parking spot somewhere. He will drive around
endlessly afterwards, so it is possible to wait for him to drive close to
a parking spot before killing him.

Unlocked 3: When Gang Wars are available.
Found 3: Found in Gang Wars with the Angels of Death, often as the target
vehicle in convoy-style missions.

Description: A special van with an oddly curved body and unique-looking
wheels. Resembles the Towtruck's body to some extent.

Missions the car may also be found in:
Heavy Toll

---------
6.8 - Innovation
---------
Unlocked (both): Shoot all 50 seagulls around Liberty City.
Found 1: Spawns outside the west door of the Lost Clubhouse, in the alley.

Found 2: Call up Clay and use his perk (Bikes) to order one.

Description: A sleek motorcycle that resembles a Hellfury. Very good top
speed and turning, but acceleration is lacking somewhat.

---------
6.9 - Daemon
---------
Unlocked 1: When Gang Wars are available.
Found 1: Some gangs use these Daemons as their vehicles. Simply take one to
a parking spot after finishing the war (or even during, since you won't
fail for leaving the battleground).

Unlocked 2: When races are available.
Found 2: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then
make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss),
then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die,
otherwise the bike is UJ.

Description: A motorcycle resembling the Angel, always with a flame
design on the side (like the Cuban Hermes in Vice City).

Missions the car may also be found in:
It's War

---------
6.10 - Nightblade
---------
Unlocked: When races are available.
Found: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then
make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss),
then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die,
otherwise the bike is UJ.

Description: A chopper-style motorcycle, very nondescript.

Missions the car may also be found in:
Malc random encounter (first), Bike Theft missions (randomly)

---------
6.11 - Wolfsbane
---------
Unlocked: When races are available.

---------
6.12 - Hakuchou Custom
---------
Unlocked: When races are available.
Found: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then
make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss),
then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die,
otherwise the bike is UJ.

Description: A custom version of the Hakuchou, with slightly higher
stats all around. It usually has a green camouflage pattern.

Missions the car may also be found in:
Heavy Toll, Shifting Weight, Malc random encounter (first)

NOTE: This bike is best obtained in Heavy Toll, where you can get it for
free with no problem at the end. No failing a mission or race needed.

---------
6.13 - Double T Custom
---------
Unlocked: When races are available.
Found: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then
make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss),
then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die,
otherwise the bike is UJ.

Description: A custom version of the Double T, with slightly higher
stats all around. It usually has a green camouflage pattern.

Missions the car may also be found in:
Shifting Weight, Roman's Holiday, Malc random encounter (both)

NOTE: This bike is best obtained at the end of Shifting Weight, or in
Roman's Holiday, to prevent having to fail a mission or race.

---------
6.14 - Black Comet
---------
Unlocked: When Gang Wars are available.
Found: The Jamaican gang uses these black Comets as their target vehicle
in convoy-type gang wars. To obtain one may require difficult measures,
namely a strategy akin to the one for 3.4 - Prison Bus. See that strategy
to possibly obtain (and keep) this vehicle.

Description: A flat black Comet, which is not a normal color for the car.

---------
6.15 - Black Schafter w/ silver grill
---------
Unlocked: When Gang Wars are available.
Found: The Russian gang uses these black Schafters as their vehicles in
gang wars. Simply take one to a parking spot after finishing the war (or
even during, since you won't fail for leaving the battleground).

Description: These Schafters are black with black rims, but a silver
grill, much like the Russian-used cars in GTA4. Normally, this type of
Schafter has a black grill, not silver.

*7* SUSPECTED UNIQUE VEHICLES
========================================================
These are vehicles that I, or others, suspect for being unique in some
way. Researching and confirming the uniqueness of vehicles is a very
difficult and tedious task, so any GTA players who want to help with the
guide, look here and do the mentioned research on the vehicles, then
email the findings (if any) to me. If extensively researched, even finding
nothing is worth reporting (checking one 100 times is a likely indication
it is, in fact, NOT unique).

(NONE)

*9* FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
========================================================
Q: You missed [insert vehicle]!
A: Email me, and let me know. You will receive full credit for it.

Q: [Insert vehicle] doesn't possess a property you said it did!
A: Most likely, you did not follow the precise strategy. If you did,
and it does not retain its property, contact me and say so, although
I personally check each and every vehicle.

Q: [Insert vehicle] isn't special, but you still have it listed here!
A: Send me the info on where it can be found at any time (especially the
end of the game), and I'll adjust or remove it from this guide
 accordingly.

Q: One of the vehicles you listed is one I discovered first, and here's
 proof! Thief!
A: If you have proof you discovered a vehicle first, show it to me and
if I determine you really did discover it first, credit will be given.

*10* CONTACT INFORMATION
=======================================================
My screenname is LancetJades on GameFAQs.

From now, on when submitting vehicles you feel are special (or aren't),
please make sure you've done a side-by-side comparison. Investigate more
than just seeing a similarly colored vehicle on the streets a while later
and thinking "oh wait, it wasn't special." A lot of them have much more
subtle differences than an overtly special color.

If you wish to contact me, just email me:
lancet jades at g mail dot com
(remove the spaces, obviously, and replace the at with the proper sign)

Alternatively, IM me at:
AIM: Lancet Jades
YIM: lancetjades (not on often)
MSN: psionicsword@hotmail.com (rarely on)

I never check my @hotmail.com address, so don't send mail to it.
I don't mind being contacted about this game, so don't hesitate if you
have a question or comment. But if you're gonna flame me, it won't
work (I'll just have a good laugh and ignore you). I also don't check my
yahoo email address, so don't bother sending any mail there either.

I'm a perfectionist, so if you have anything to contribute or correct,
please do so. You'll receive full credit (credit goes to the
screenname you talk to me from, so if you want another name, you have
to specify it). Even if you're pointing out a spelling or grammatical
mistake, please do so, no matter how small. Note however, I live in the
U.S., and as such, spelling it "color" instead of "colour" is NOT a
mistake.

If you wish to use this guide on your site, aside from asking my
permission, I require you in question to automatically fetch any
updates I make from GameFAQs.com yourselves. I only update to
GameFAQs.com and if I discover other sites carrying my guides have
out-of-date versions, I will ask that it be removed.
