This guide lists all known proofed, special property, unique, and even rare vehicles (which often have to be unlocked). This is NOT a "rare car" guide. Vehicles that appear rarely, but DO appear in free roam (such as the Comet) do NOT qualify for the scope of this guide. Only cars that have something special about them that is normally unavailable are included. This includes special features, paintjobs, proofings, or being unavailable outside of missions entirely. Vehicles such as these are a staple of the GTA series, and this entry is no exception. I wrote this guide with the Xbox 360 DLC version, not the PS3, PC, or Episodes from Liberty City version. I have since checked it in the 360 EfLC version as well, but if you notice a difference, such as a particular strategy or glitch not working, contact me and let me know (be sure to mention which version you're playing). Saves are fully compatible between both the DLC and EfLC versions of TLAD. CAUTION! This guide may inadvertently contain spoilers of story missions! BP - Bulletproof. This vehicle will not take damage from bullets. Windows cannot be damaged, and shots will not count towards the car being destroyed. Unlike the previous GTAs, tires are apparently also immune to being popped by gunfire. FP - Fireproof. This vehicle will not catch fire or otherwise take damage from molotovs. Tires can still catch fire unfortunately. EP - Explosionproof. This car is immune to explosive damage, such as from grenades, rocket launchers, or exploding cars. Does not stop the car itself from exploding if somehow critically damaged. DP - Damageproof. This car cannot be damaged by bashing it around (into other cars, walls, etc.) or by melee attacks (unproven). The car will still take cosmetic damage, such as dents and scrapes (even to the point of impeding functions, such as a wheel well being destroyed). CP - Comprehensiveproof. This combines the qualities of bulletproof, fireproof, explosionproof, and damageproof. UJ - Unjackable. Now that even locked cars can be jacked by breaking the windows, UJ means that Johnny will simply refuse to break the windows and get in. Even breaking the windows anyways, he still refuses to open the doors. Beater - A rustbucket. One of the rusty, falling-apart cars that occasionally spawn. Used in the first nine levels of the Little Jacob's drug delivery missions. Confirm - To "confirm" a car is to return to the parking spot where it was left BEFORE continuing with the game (most notably saving and loading). Cars parked during missions are retained, but only during that game session, as parking spots are "turned off" during missions (to prevent abuse to repair your car). Confirming it causes the game to recall the car, and as a result, store it properly next time it is removed (when you save and load, or drive away again). Failure to do this will lead to the car vanishing, even though it was in a parking spot. Description - A description of unique color/feature vehicles and WHY they are unique. Discovered by - This is not necessarily the first person to discover a vehicle, but rather the first person to report it to me. I will add the original discoverer if I'm able to determine who originally found it, however. Double-drive - Double-driving is used in some vehicle strategies. It involves driving two vehicles at once back to your safehouse. One is the special vehicle you're trying to obtain, the other is a vehicle some important person from the mission is in, and if you go too far away, you will fail. You essentially drive one car partway towards the destination (usually a parking spot), then get out and drive the other a bit farther, and repeat ad nauseum. Slow, but guaranteed to work, as long as you don't put too much distance between them. You don't risk failing the mission, but rather the vehicle you're trying for may vanish. If one vehicle is powerful enough to push the other, you can do that instead to expedite the process. EfLC - "Episodes from Liberty City." This term refers to the compilation of both the TLAD and TBoGT DLC episodes in disc form, available as a stand-alone game. These are specifically NOT DLC, do NOT require the GTAIV disc, and cannot "blend" the radio content from GTAIV with their own. EfLC's TLAD contains map upgrades added in TBoGT, and is incompatible with the DLC version's multiplayer. Firetruck Trick - This is simpler than it may sound. The Firetruck's water stream is able to not only push small vehicle, but put out any fire that starts. This allows rapid pushing of motorcycles and other such vehicles without concern for their damage, as if they catch fire, it will put it out, restoring it back to simply heavily smoking. This is a much, much quicker and more effective strategy than it sounds. Formulated by - This is who informed me of the strategy to obtain the vehicle. Vehicles that were pointed out to be, but where I was given no strategy to obtain it often lead to me developing the strategy, although most will have the same entry for Discovered and Formulated by. NOTE: Vehicles that are given to you (such as the Crimson Diabolus) have no strategy credits listed, as it is too simple to warrant credit. In addition to this, I no longer list who created strategies when a vehicle is easy to see and is made clear to you, such as if a target in a mission drives it, meaning you must shoot them out. If anything more is needed, including mission failure, credit will be mentioned however. GTAIV - References to GTAIV refer specifically to the main game and storyline of GTAIV itself, i.e., the game with Niko as the player character. For the purposes of this guide, it is considered a completely separate game from both the TLAD and TBoGT DLC episodes. Hybrid Grill - This is a rather specialized term. Some PMP 600s in a few missions (check the vehicle list for which have it) have a special "hybrid" style grill not seen with other PMP 600s. It is called hybrid because it's a cross between the normal grill (a lot of vertical bars), and the "Mafia" PMP 600 grill (a few vertical bars with a mesh backing). The hybrid grill has a lot of vertical bars and the mesh backing. So far, the PMP 600 is the only vehicle known to have a completely different grill used only in story mission vehicles (with no pattern at that). Jack - To jack a vehicle means to steal it. This is probably not a necessary entry, but I figured I'd add it just in case. Luster - Lustered vehicles are vehicles with a "luster" to them. A luster is a secondary color that can only be seen well in certain light. The vehicles with lusters are predominantly black, but some are silver, and a select few are other colors. The best light for viewing lusters is different depending on the base color. Black is best between 11am and 3pm, while white/silver lusters are best seen in twilight (dawn or dusk). Direct sunlight between 11am and 3pm often drowns out white/silver cars' lusters entirely. Generally, the lighter the base color, the closer to twilight it should be viewed at. Rare - This is used in the guide as an "unlockable" vehicle. Tuner - A "tuner" car is a special modified version of the vehicle, usually adding spoilers and other modifications. These often come in only one color. They still have the same name as the base vehicle, so a tuner Sentinel is still labeled "Sentinel" in the game. A lot of tuner cars in this game are NOT "unique," but found randomly on the street (albeit rare at times), and thus will not be included in this guide unless otherwise warranted. Unique - This vehicle is unique and found in story missions only, or other limited-time availability missions, and thus can be missed altogether. Unlockable - This term in my guide denotes a vehicle that is only infinitely available either through story missions and/or by unlocking it at some point through the story, whether by completing a mission, finishing a side mission, or even a vehicle that is only available during a side mission, but is repeatedly available by doing the mission over and over at your leisure. Unobtainable - A vehicle that, for whatever reason, cannot be obtained and/or stored with its properties. NOTE: During some missions, AI drivers that you chase are given "super" stats: speed, acceleration, turning, etc, designed to ensure that you cannot catch up to them until the game deems it okay (usually involves the target reaching their destination intact). If you are in danger of catching up or passing them (or if you take a shortcut to do so), they hyper-accelerate to stay in the lead. They also tend to slow down and "wait" for you if you fall too far behind, although they never stop completely. This goes along with the fact such chases are usually scripted. --------------------------- 1.1 - USING COPS TO TRANSPORT UNJACKABLE CARS --------------------------- This strategy is courtesy of GTA Phreak. It gives a strategy to get cops to jack UJ vehicles and "transport" them for you. Cops aren't bound by the unjackable attribute some special vehicles have, making them a good method to get difficult vehicles long distances. He writes the following: USING COPS TO DRIVE UNJACKABLE CARS In general the cops will chase your vehicle on foot as long as you're very close. When you get a certain distance away from the cop he will stop chasing you and head for the nearest vehicle (the effect is clearly visible if you observe him while slowly pulling away). They don't seem to prefer parked cars over stopped and still occupied cars, but they will backtrack away from you if there's a car behind them. Cops in cars will chase your vehicle and try to ram you regardless of what their car (or bike) is. Beware that only real police cars are marked on radar. They will leave their car if it gets flipped, catches fire or gets stuck for a prolonged time. They will also exit their car if you exit your vehicle near them or you get stuck for a prolonged time near them. Their car will not disappear as long as there are cops in it, even if left out of sight. There's a more general police unspawning effect that can remove them if you move very far away (several blocks). Getting your unjackable car transported by the cops is all about manipulating the above to your advantage. To get cops into the vehicle, get a wanted level (or dial 911-1) and preferably jack the first police car that arrives at the scene. That will leave cops on foot and you will be driving a vehicle. Drive back and forth past the vehicle you want transported, - just beyond the distance where they'll give up chasing you on foot, while keeping the target vehicle in sight. Once they're in the vehicle lead them away, they will chase you relentlessly. In this phase you cannot leave your vehicle or get stuck near the vehicle being transported, if you do the cops will abandon their vehicle. If you have to change car you need to do it far enough away so that they'll still prefer driving after you (I'm not sure how far that is, I never had to swap vehicle). You can't really control if they flip the vehicle or damage it so much that it catches fire. But avoid starting fires they can get caught in. If they get stuck, double back, and if possible lead them off in a different direction (use the situation to temporarily lose as many of the other pursuers as possible). Once you're getting close to your parking space allow the transported vehicle to close up and to start ramming you. You want it to ram you from within your parking space, with your own vehicle blocking right next to the space. Once the target vehicle is within the space, exit. That will cause the cop driving the transported vehicle to exit as well and start chasing you on foot. The reaction is almost instant, so it isn't difficult to achieve. Although your target vehicle most likely isn't equipped with a shotgun, all other cops you dragged along will also exit their police cars, and they will have shotguns, so don't linger. Either sprint inside your safehouse and save/sleep off the wanted level or sprint down the street and grab a different vehicle (possibly one you had parked earlier and rammed a bit down the street). You need it to be a bit down the street, otherwise you could get the target vehicle re-jacked. Leave the area as fast as possible, allowing the parking space to store the target vehicle before the cops can mess with it. Executing a mission replay might also work, but using the phone under fire is difficult. Although you only need a 1 star wanted level to do all this, it will eventually escalate to 2 stars because you'll be evading arrest (by the cop driving your target vehicle). It is however much easier to make progress at 1 star, so get as much distance as possible before the wanted level rises. Keep in mind, the mission must NOT be active to accomplish this! Cops won't touch cars "marked" as part of the mission, so the mission must be inactive (pass or fail) to pull this off. ======================================================== *2* SAFEHOUSES AND PARKING SPOTS ======================================================== These are places to store your vehicles. Whenever a parking spot is loaded into the game's memory, the vehicles therein are restored to top condition and health. Even destroyed vehicles will be repaired, so long as you get the carcass of the vehicle into the spot. Even helicopters and boats may be saved in parking spots. Each spot can hold two vehicles maximum. More than two cars CAN be stored in a parking spot on a temporary basis, however. It will retain 3+ cars normally, however whenever you save and reload the game, you will find only two cars remaining, chosen randomly from any that were "in the space" at the time of saving. Parking spots are ALWAYS available, even if you do not own the safehouse yet, or have lost it via story progression. This includes Niko's old parking spots from safehouses in GTAIV that are never available in TLAD. It was brought to my attention by Matt J that a viable strategy for obtaining most special vehicles in missions is to park it in a parking spot, then commit suicide. This will fail the mission, and upon return to the parking spot, the vehicle will still be there. The total amount of vehicle storage available is 14 (7 parking spots). "The Lost" Clubhouse, Berners Rd., Acter (Alderney) -Unlocked after ...Clean and Serene, lost after Get Lost Brian's House, Hardtack Ave., Tudor (Alderney) -Unlocked after Bad Standing Roman's Apartment, Mohawk Ave., Hove Beach (Broker) -Parking Spot ONLY Mallorie's Apartment, Joliet St., South Bohan (Bohan) -Parking Spot ONLY Roman's New Apartment, Albany Ave., Middle Park East (Algonquin) -Parking Spot ONLY Playboy X's Mansion, Xenotime St., Northwood (Algonquin) -Parking Spot ONLY Ray's Apartment, Mahesh Ave., Alderney City (Alderney) -Parking Spot ONLY NOTE: Motorcycles in parking spots have a particular behavior which can be troublesome for extended storage. Every time the motorcycle is "loaded" into the game world, it repositions it based on the "center" of the vehicle's actual position, NOT on where it touches the ground. This means that every time it is loaded, it spawns a little bit farther in whichever direction it is leaning. If leaning towards the curb, it will eventually reach the curb, and from then on simply load while sitting against it. This is the position you want the motorcycle to be in, as it will last indefinitely. However, if it leans towards the street, it will continue creeping closer and closer, until it finally is spawned IN the street, outside of the parking spot, and thus will vanish for good once you leave the area. Always make sure motorcycles lean towards the curb. Some quirks parking spots have: South Bohan: If an obstacle is placed correctly on the road near the parking spot, cars driving down the road often swerve directly into the spot, displacing any vehicles there. This can get so bad that you cannot leave without losing a car, because anytime you re-park the cars, another will knock them out before you can leave. Be very careful about this! Middle Park East: If you take a taxi to either the safehouse's icon, or to a waypoint set to the icon, it will park in the middle of the parking spot, displacing your existing cars. This is especially bad if you trip skip. ======================================================== *3* UNIQUE VEHICLES ======================================================== These vehicles only appear during story missions, and once the game is completed, cannot be acquired without cheating. --------- 3.1 - Prison Bus (1st of 2) --------- Mission: Off Route (Tom Stubbs) Difficulty: *** Required: Mission failure Discovered by: gtalcvcsa (GameFAQs boards) Strategy: This is the large bus you must capture during the mission. Acquiring it, however, is somewhat difficult. The best way to go about it (short of killing yourself with it in a parking spot) is to park it where you want to store it, then find another vehicle (preferably fast, especially in acceleration), then drop a grenade next to it as you zip by it. Normally, parking spots eat destroyed cars, but if you can blow it up, failing the mission, and get out of the area fast enough, when you return, it will hopefully be sitting in the parking spot, fully repaired. This may take a few tries, although the Middle Park East spot may be a good option. Formulated by: Lancet Jades --------- 3.2 - Laundromat --------- Mission: End of Chapter (Jim Fitzgerald) Difficulty: *** Required: Nothing Discovered by: Lancet Jades Strategy 1: Some of Brian's backup goons drive up in these vans throughout the mission. Acquiring one directly can be difficult. Jack one and drive it during the chase at the end of the mission. After finishing off the enemies, if you're lucky enough to be far enough away from Jim to get the "go to Jim" message, take it to a parking spot, then finish the mission and confirm it afterwards. Formulated by: Lancet Jades Strategy 2: Alternatively, drive the van during the chase and just finish the mission. Although you lose the van when teleported back to the clubhouse, you may find a van or two driving around the streets. Pick one up and park it. Formulated by: Lancet Jades NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you are driving one yourself, or much less likely, if one was recently in the game's memory (such as after a mission featuring it). It is thus still unique, as unless you obtain it in or after a mission where it is used, you won't see one elsewhere. --------- 3.3 - Regina --------- Mission: Heavy Toll (Elizabeta Torres) Difficulty: ** Required: Nothing Discovered by: Flobba Strategy: These are the escort cars for the Slamvan that is your target. After dispatching all the enemies, double-drive one of these back to the Bohan parking spot (right off the Bohan bridge exit) and leave it there, then finish the mission. Confirm it before saving. Formulated by: Flobba NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you are driving one yourself, or much less likely, if one was recently in the game's memory (such as after a mission featuring it). It is thus still unique, as unless you obtain it in or after a mission where it is used, you won't see one elsewhere. --------- 3.4 - Roman's Taxi --------- Mission: Roman's Holiday (Ashley Butler) Difficulty: * Required: Mission failure Discovered by: Lancet Jades Strategy: Getting this requires some tricky dealing. After meeting up with Malc, dial Roman's Cab number (Elizabeta texts it to you after a previous mission - it is 555-2222), and Johnny will call for Roman to pick him up. Once he gets there, you'll get in automatically. Get out and kill Malc to fail the mission, then take it to a parking spot. Do NOT kill Roman instead, otherwise Malc will drive off with it after the mission failure cutscene. Formulated by: Lancet Jades --------- 3.5 - Lustered Black Laundromat --------- Mission: Get Lost (Tom Stubbs) Difficulty: ***** Required: Extreme patience (and a pushing vehicle) Discovered by: Lancet Jades (vehicle and luster), lol232 (color) Description: What makes these laundromats distinct from the ones in End of Chapter and found on the streets is that these are a special black color, and are occasionally lustered. Known lusters are Red, Green, and Blue. Strategy: This is parked in the lot at the front of the prison, inside the front gates. To obtain it, complete the mission up until Billy is dead and you are escaping the prison. Drive the Hexer out to the lot, but DO NOT leave the prison with it! Park it there, get off, and leave on foot. Now, the hard part. You need a vehicle to push the Laundromat (which is UJ) back to the parking spot at Brian's house, but you need a larger one, like a Patriot (or bigger). Unfortunatey, vehicles spawned nearby are random, and none appear on the streets normally. You must get lucky and have the vehicles it chooses from to spawn parked be suitable pushing vehicles. This can take dozens of attempts. Calling 911 for an Ambulance or Fire Truck won't work either - they never show. It's a long, grueling process, and can fail quite easily. Make sure to push with the BACK of your truck, and go slowly. Repeatedly ramming the target vehicle can attract police attention, which is the last thing you want. Note that the Prison Bus and Laundromat are persistent in the game world until you officially exit the prison on the Hexer and your wanted level is removed. At that point, if they leave your view for more than a second, they'll probably vanish, so be careful. Formulated by: Lancet Jades Strategy 2: Getting this and the Prison Bus may seem impossible (without failing the mission), but it's not that much more work. Just push both of them to the parking spot at the same time. It takes a little more than twice as long, but it's not much harder. It's probably LESS work than getting both separately by failing the mission after getting one. Follow the strategy for 3.6 - Prison Bus though, as you'll need a pushing vehicle capable of pushing it. Formulated by: Lancet Jades NOTE: While this vehicle can appear randomly on the street (if you're driving one, or have driven one recently), the black and lustered color on this one is unique and irreplacable. --------- 3.6 - Prison Bus (2nd of 2) --------- Mission: Get Lost (Tom Stubbs) Difficulty: ********** Required: The patience of a god (and a pushing vehicle) Discovered by: Lancet Jades Strategy 1: This is parked in the lot at the front of the prison, inside the front gates. To obtain it, complete the mission up until Billy is dead and you are escaping the prison. Drive the Hexer out to the lot, but DO NOT leave the prison with it! Park it there, get off, and leave on foot. Now, the hard part. You need a vehicle to push the Prison Bus (which is UJ) back to the parking spot at Brian's house, but you need a heavy, large one, like a Mule. Unfortunatey, vehicles spawned nearby are random, and none appear on the streets normally. You must get lucky and have the vehicles it chooses from to spawn parked be suitable pushing vehicles. This can take dozens of attempts. Calling 911 for an Ambulance or Fire Truck won't work either - they never show. It's a long, grueling process, and can fail quite easily. Formulated by: Lancet Jades NOTE: The real trouble with this vehicle is you're at the game's mercy for a vehicle to push with, as you cannot prepare one beforehand. Getting this without failing a mission or dying is the Holy Grail of TLAD. --------- 3.7 - Bright Orange Infernus w/ black side stripe --------- Mission: Knowing Me, Knowing You (Stubbs' Job) Difficulty: * Required: Mission failure (technically) Discovered by: MrFloppay, Diego Wolfwood (pointing out uniqueness) Description: This Infernus has an orange color with a black stripe along the side. The stripe is what really makes this special. Additionally, the Infernus does NOT randomly spawn in TLAD, unless already driving one. Thus, if you do not obtain it in this mission, it cannot be obtained, period. The color of this is unique even amongst Infernuses, as it does not occur randomly. Strategy: The only way to get this car is to fail the mission. However, failing it seems to render the vehicle UJ and forces Johnny to get out, so make sure to fail with it in a parking spot already. Failing this mission does NOT count against you in your "Missions Failed" stat. Formulated by: Lancet Jades NOTE: This is the same Infernus that Bernie gives to Niko late in GTAIV. ======================================================== *4* SPECIALLY COLORED/FEATURED VEHICLES ======================================================== These vehicles all have some special color of feature that the vehicle usually does not have. --------- 4.1 - Magenta Diabolus (1st of 2) --------- Mission: ...Clean and Serene (Billy Grey) Difficulty: ** Required: Mission failure Discovered by: Lancet Jades Description: A normal Diabolus with a bright magenta color to it. Strategy: Jason drives this particular Diabolus. For those who didn't pay attention to the opening movie, he's the one with shoulder-length smooth black hair. Drive close to a parking spot (the Alderney parking spot for Niko is a good option), lure his bike into it, then shoot him off. You'll fail for killing Jason, but when you restart, the bike should still be there. Formulated by: Lancet Jades --------- 4.2 - Crimson Diabolus (1st of 5) --------- Mission: ...Clean and Serene (Billy Grey) Difficulty: * Required: Nothing Discovered by: Lancet Jades Description: A normal Diabolus with a deep crimson colored body and some yellow on the frame. Strategy: This is Brian's signature Diabolus again. To obtain it is a bit complicated, yet simple. After driving to the second battle zone, be sure to park the Hexer a ways away from Brian's Diabolus. Finish the battle, and you'll be told to return to your bike. Instead of going to yours, run to Brian's and get on (be sure to get to it before he does!). Once on the Diabolus, drive next to the Hexer and the mission over cutscene will play. Afterwards, you'll be on the Hexer, but Brian's crimson Diabolus will be sitting wherever it was before the cutscene! Get on and drive it to a parking spot. It also has a large open wood crate back. This crate back is unique to this particular Yankee truck. Strategy: Jim takes you to this truck, to be used to collect motorcycles. Instead of going to the mission destination, shoot and kill Jim after you find this truck, then drive it to a garage. There are other components of this truck that cannot be saved, listed under 5.2 - Black Yankee Redesign w/ loading ramps. Apparently this is the only lustered vehicle in TLAD. The known luster colors are red, blue, green, and yellow (gold). Strategy: Three of these are in the airport, waiting to escort Stubbs. To obtain one, drive into the airport, kill Stubbs, get in one, and drive to a parking spot, making sure to be careful of all the gunfire. Alternatively, wait for Stubbs to leave the airport in the convoy, then attack it and jack one afterwards. Either way, take it to a parking spot after finishing the mission. Strategy: This, again, is Brian's signature motorcycle, except this time there's a trick: he does NOT start the mission on this bike. He only rides it at the end, when the Lost MC returns to the Clubhouse. Fight through the battle sequence of the mission, then next time you see Brian, shoot him off his bike, killing him and failing the mission. Then you're free to take the bike and drive it to a parking spot. Formulated by: Coen91. --------- 4.10 - Gold Lustered Black Stretch --------- Mission: Diamonds in the Rough (Ray Boccino) Difficulty: ** Required: Nothing Discovered by: Coen91 Description: A black Stretch with a luster. The luster seems to always be gold, but it is definitely a special color, and looks like a gold luster on other lustered vehicles in both TLAD, as well as GTAIV itself. Strategy: Evan Moss rides in this Stretch during the chase in the latter half of the mission. Getting it is somewhat of a challenge, as both Evan and the driver have an extremely high amount of health. Indiscriminate shooting tends to destroy the car (and driving Evan from it in the process). Aim carefully to snipe out the driver once you enter Algonquin (the chase is scripted up until a short ways into Algonquin), and after several shots, he should die. Evan will get out and run for it. Gun him down, collect the diamonds, then drive the Stretch to a parking spot, and go finish the mission. Formulated by: Coen91. --------- 4.11 - Black "Mafia" PMP 600 w/ hybrid grill --------- Mission: Collector's Item (Ray Boccino) Difficulty: ** Required: Nothing Discovered by: Lancet Jades, and Swift (black) and Anderson (white) Description: This is a normal looking Mafia PMP 600 (gloss black coloring, and a small spoiler on the rear), except that it has a hybrid grill. The description of the hybrid grill can be found in the list of terms in an earlier section. Strategy: These cars (the white and black PMP 600s with a hybrid grill) are scattered around the museum during the mission. Later on, they are used in pursuit of both Niko and Johnny. You can jack one and take it to a parking spot at any time, whether before or after exiting the museum. However, some of these are used by the Mafia soldiers as they pursue you, and if one that is flagged to be used was taken to a parking spot, it will vanish from the spot once you exit the museum. It is imperative you check any cars you take from this mission BEFORE finishing, just in case. There will be several black PMP 600s parked outside after exiting the museum. It is very easy to kill the Mafia soldiers nearby, jack one, and drive it to a parking spot (preferably Middle Park East, or Xenotime St. if absolutely necessary), then finish the mission. You could even finish the mission in the car and then park it. This strategy, combined with a particular "safe" white PMP 600 below (4.12), makes getting both cars quite simple and foolproof. This makes it an all-around better prize. Strategy: These cars (the white and black PMP 600s with a hybrid grill) are scattered around the museum during the mission. Later on, they are used in pursuit of both Niko and Johnny. You can jack one and take it to a parking spot at any time, whether before or after exiting the museum. However, some of these are used by the Mafia soldiers as they pursue you, and if one that is flagged to be used was taken to a parking spot, it will vanish from the spot once you exit the museum. It is imperative you check any cars you take from this mission BEFORE finishing, just in case. The white PMP 600 behind the east stairs to the museum (to the north of them) is NOT used by assailants, and can be taken to a parking spot immediately. You will still need to confirm it after the mission, however. This combines well with the strategy for the black PMP 600 (4.11) to acquire both of them. That's nothing special. But the tires have a solid black rim around the inside. Normal Zombies have a very noticable white rim, while the special Lost gang Zombies have a red rim. A subtle, but very interesting difference. Strategy: This is parked in the alley at the very end of the mission, when you are to deliver the money to Jim. This is alongside Jim's Zombie (with the red rims). To obtain it, carefully and slowly approach the bikers, and shoot one. This will fail the mission for attacking your fellow bikers. Proceed to get on the Zombie (make sure it isn't Jim's!) and drive to a parking spot. No luster, apparently, but it's nonetheless a unique color. Strategy: Jack it outside the cafe and take it to a parking spot (preferably Niko's Middle Park East spot). The targets usually follow in the Huntley Sport, so both vehicles are quite easy to obtain. --------- 4.20 - Light Blue Habanero --------- Mission: Phone Ho! (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry) Difficulty: * Required: Nothing Discovered by: Coen91 Description: A light blue Habanero. The shjade of blue looks very vaguely metallic, and is unique to this vehicle. Strategy 1: Jump down to the car and shoot the driver. This will fail the mission, but is the easiest way. Failing this mission does NOT count against your "Missions Failed" statistic. Formulated by: Coen91 Strategy 2: You can jack this car normally, then acquire the bright red Cognoscenti (4.21) at the same time. Double-drive them back to a parking spot. Formulated by: Lancet Jades, Coen91 --------- 4.22 - Dukes w/ missing hood scoop --------- Mission: Communication Breakdown (Stubbs' Dirty Laundry) Difficulty: * Required: Nothing Discovered by: Lancet Jades Description: A normal-looking Dukes with a missing hood scoop. Seemingly a glitch of sorts, as the engine parts under where the scoop should be seem blurry and lower-res, like the general texture of car engines in the game. The other features of the car (such as a small rear spoiler) and the color are random. Strategy: This is the car the target uses. After the cutscene, he begins to drive away, but as you're right next to it, whip out a gun and shoot him dead. He should die within a couple seconds, before he can get any distance away, so just take the car afterwards and drive it to a parking spot. Formulated by: Lancet Jades NOTE: This car does not always spawn with the hood scoop missing! It seems to only appear if the Dukes would've spawned with a hood scoop. Sometimes it spawns without one entirely, which renders this non-special. ======================================================== *5* UNOBTAINABLE SPECIAL VEHICLES ======================================================== These vehicles are unobtainable for whatever reason is listed. This can include any vehicle type from the previous three sections, but as they cannot be acquired permanently, there is no need to put them in those sections. --------- 5.1 - Black Yankee (redesign) w/ loading ramps --------- Mission: Liberty City Choppers (Jim Fitzgerald) Discovered by: Lancet Jades Description: A black Yankee with a light blue stripe along the side of the cab. It also has a large open wood crate back. This back is unique to this particular Yankee. This also has a loading ramp in the back, used to load the bikes onto the truck during the mission. Unobtainable: Although the truck itself IS obtainable, the version with the loading ramp is not, as the ramp vanishes once a vehicle is saved. Even though it still exists in the parking spot, as soon as the vehicle is removed from active memory (load a game, or move too far away), when you return, it will have vanished. --------- 5.2 - Auto-revving Double T Custom --------- Mission: Malc second random encounter Discovered by: dmx646827969 Description: This is a randomly-colored Double T Custom that automatically revs itself every few seconds, even when idle. The revving is a sound effect only, not producing any actual effect. This is the bike Malc is working on at the start of the mission. Aiming a gun at him will scare him off (before starting the mission, otherwise the bike is UJ). You can then get on and drive it. Unobtainable: Saving it at a parking spot removes the auto-revving, which is the only thing making this vehicle special. ======================================================== *6* RARE VEHICLES ======================================================== These vehicles aren't anything inherently special, but are nonetheless unique for various reasons, often requiring completion of a mission or side mission to unlock. These can all be obtained at the end of the game without any problem. --------- 6.1 - Blue Diabolus --------- Unlocked: When Terry is available as a friend. Found: Terry drives this whenever he appears in a mission, as backup, or as a friend. After going out, you can get on his bike instead of your own, and keep it without incurring a loss in friendship or respect. Description: A chopper, somewhat resembling a modified Hellfury. A decent motorcycle overall. This particular bike has a flat blue color to it. --------- 6.2 - Purple Diabolus --------- Unlocked: When Clay is available as a friend. Found: Clay drives this whenever he appears in a mission, as backup, or as a friend. After going out, you can get on his bike instead of your own, and keep it without incurring a loss in friendship or respect. Description: A chopper, somewhat resembling a modified Hellfury. A decent motorcycle overall. This particular bike has a flat bluish purple color to it. --------- 6.3 - Police Maverick --------- Unlocked (all): Not unlocked, just very difficult to obtain. Found (1): Shows up as chopper support at 3-4 stars (5-6 has Annihilators appear). Getting it can be difficult. Found (1): Climb onto the rooftop of the Libertonian Museum via the scaffolding round the back of the building. Once on the top, shoot at the police and get a wanted level. When the chopper comes, position yourself near the edge of the roof so the chopper hovers low over rooftop. When it is low enough, snipe the pilot and if done right it will crash, spin a little but remain there. Kill the NOOSE and take the chopper! Much easier than forcing it to crash, and does much less damage with a higher rate of success. Formulated by: Pepe Strategy 2: Sniping the pilot of the helicopter causes it to fall to the ground. This will often result in the chopper being available to jack without much trouble, as it often won't knock the tail or blades off. Formulated by: spnosrs Description: A police version of the normal Maverick. White and blue paintjob, and no radio. --------- 6.4 - Annihilator --------- Unlocked: Use the Annihilator spawn cheat (call 359-555-0100). Found: Right next to you after using the cheat. This, of course, counts as a cheat and increments your "Times cheated" stat by 1. Strategy 1: Courtesy of EKGene, a way to obtain an Annihilator at any time! This requires a lot of luck, and can be irritating, though it is not terribly difficult if luck is on your side, and impossible if it is not. First of all, head to a helipad with a Maverick (atop the Booth Tunnel is recommended). Once there, start building up a wanted level. Five stars is the goal, and try to do it in relative safety, away from the north side of Alderney (north of the highway). Once you have five stars, fly the helicopter to the parking garage in the north of Alderney (it is slightly northwest of the police station. After reaching the garage, land on the roof and prepare for the moment. First, take out any Police Mavericks bothering you by either sniping the pilot, rocket launcher, or killing the gunmen on each side. Now is the moment of truth. Run around the garage's roof, trying to lure one of the two Annihilators that will pursue close to the ground. This may require making a circuit around both levels of the roof to get the Annihilators into the proper formation. Keep in mind you are also on a timer, since cops on the ground will be ascending the garage to get to you. Although they can be fought off, letting them gather will deplete your armor and health quickly. Once an Annihilator is close enough, and the pilot is in view, take out a sniper rifle and snipe him. The heli will spin down to the ground. If it was too high, it will explode in impact. If that happens, try again with future Annihilators. If it doesn't explode, it will continue to spin on the ground. Normally this makes obtaining it impossible, as you cannot get close enough to the door before it swipes you with the tail, but this time it is different. Eventually, the tail will catch on the wall of the roof. If you're lucky (and it does happen fairly often), this will bring it to a stop without breaking the tail or rotors. Be prepared! The two SWAT guys in the back will get out and begin shooting. Kill them, and get in. Congratulations on obtaining the Annihilator! To keep it, fly to your safehouse and land on the nearby street. Rush inside the building and save to remove your wanted level. Be careful when leaving the Annihilator: it may fly up for a few seconds! If this happens, you will fall and take a little damage, and it will come back down and probably lose the blades or tail. No problem, because you should call a Firetruck and push it into the parking spot after saving. Just remember to re-save afterwards, or else it'll vanish. Once it is repaired, it should last long enough to take off without snapping the blades again. If it's positioned such that it is impossible, just call another Firetruck and reposition it until it works. As long as a save file has it in the spot, you can get it flying eventually. Here is the video of the GTAIV version of this trick. The important part is once he is on the parking garage roof, which is what matters in TLAD and TBoGT as well. The Annihilator should be waiting atop it. Take it to a parking spot for safe keeping. This only appears IMMEDIATELY afterwards! MC_320 says it also appears on the MeTV building in central Algonquin (the same place as the one rewarded in GTAIV for shooting all 200 pigeons). These will continue appearing until you end that game session by loading a game, so get as many as you want. According to OrionSR, on the Xbox 360 Episodes from Liberty City version, you must wait until the sixth cinematic during the ending credits for the Annihilator to appear properly. This is a motorcycle gang war scene, taking place after the battle at the museum, and before the bank heist in the credits. I have the DLC version for the 360, and it will be there regardless of how long the credits are watched. Description: A large black attack helicopter, equipped with an automatic gun which, unfortunately, lacks any automatic aim. The TLAD version of this helicopter, however, features explosive bullets that make it a hundredfold more effective than the GTAIV version. NOTE: To store the Annihilator, I recommend the parking space outside Brian's apartment in Tudor. No other parking space gives this enough space to properly land. The best bet is to snap the blades, then get a truck (call a Firetrick if you need one) and push it onto the space. When you come back to the area, it will be repaired, and should still be far enough away from the building to take off without snapping the blades again. Doing it without snapping the blades is difficult since if you move an inch too close, the building will repel it and force you to reposition the heli to try again. --------- 6.5 - Revenant --------- Unlocked (1): After "This Shit's Cursed" (Billy Grey). Found (1): Call up Clay and use his perk (Bikes) to order one. Unlocked (2): When races are available. Found (2): Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss), then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die, otherwise the bike is UJ. Description: A medium-sized motorcycle, about halfway between a chopper and a sports bike. It is notable for having solid chrome wheels instead of spokes or some other setup. Billy's version of the bike is NOT unique, but rather, one of the random colorings in its palette. Missions the car may also be found in: ...Clean and Serene, Angels in America, It's War, Action/Reaction, This Shit's Cursed NOTE: After the intro mission (...Clean and Serene) this will be one of three bikes parked outside the Clubhouse. Move one of the other two and keep it. --------- 6.6 - Slamvan --------- Unlocked (1): When Terry's Gun Van service is available. Found (1): Order Terry's weapon service, then shoot him dead in his car. Proceed to push it into a parking spot somewhere. He will drive around endlessly afterwards, so it is possible to wait for him to drive close to a parking spot before killing him. Unlocked (2): When Gang Wars are available. Found (2): Found in Gang Wars with the Angels of Death, often as the target vehicle in convoy-style missions. These may appear in several colors, such as all black, black and orange, white and blue, or white and purple. Description: A special van with an oddly curved body and unique-looking wheels. Resembles the Towtruck's body to some extent. Missions the car may also be found in: Heavy Toll --------- 6.7 - Innovation --------- Unlocked (1 and 2): Shoot all 50 seagulls around Liberty City. Found (1): Spawns outside the west door of the Lost Clubhouse, in the alley. Found (2): Call up Clay and use his perk (Bikes) to order one. Description: A sleek motorcycle that resembles a Hellfury. Very good top speed and turning, but acceleration is lacking somewhat. --------- 6.8 - Hakuchou Custom --------- Unlocked: When races are available. Found: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss), then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die, otherwise the bike is UJ. Description: A custom version of the Hakuchou, with slightly higher stats all around. It usually has a green camouflage pattern. Missions the car may also be found in: Heavy Toll, Shifting Weight, Malc random encounter (first) NOTE 1: This bike can be found near the garage you finish the mission Heavy Toll at, parked against a wall. NOTE 2: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you are driving one yourself, or much less likely, if one was recently in the game's memory (such as after a mission featuring it). --------- 6.9 - Double T Custom --------- Unlocked: When races are available. Found: Sometimes an opponent uses this bike. Shoot him off of it, then make sure to kill him. The race will be abandoned (considered a loss), then the bike may be driven back to a parking spot. The opponent must die, otherwise the bike is UJ. Description: A custom version of the Double T, with slightly higher stats all around. It usually has a single-color pattern similar to a snakeskin. Missions the car may also be found in: Shifting Weight, Roman's Holiday, Malc random encounter (both) NOTE: There is a non-UJ one parked nearby the end point of Shifting Weight. It is not Malc's bike, but a different one. ======================================================== *7* GANG WARS ======================================================== These are the special battle events in the game, pitting your Lost crew against another gang in brutalstreet warfare. There are three styles, and each gang has a variety of vehicles (some special) used in some or all of the styles. Obtaining all vehicles (except the Convoy target) is a matter of driving them to a parking spot after the war is over (sometimes, some are UJ, but will be driveable after the war is over). The styles are as follows: --------- Cruising: These are gang wars where you attack the rival gang as they are driving along. This is the "basic" style of war, and will see you endure several waves of reinforcements. Victory is killing all the gang members. This is the most common variant, and never has any vehicles beyond the two basic ones the gang uses (three for AoD). --------- Convoy: Similar to Cruising, except that there is a target vehicle. Destroying that ends the gang war. There are tricks to keeping the target vehicle, although it is very difficult to do. The best strategy for this is to shoot the drivers, get in, and drive to a parking spot. Fire at the vehicle until it catches fire, then get into another car and drive away until the war ends. Come back, and if you're lucky, it'll still be sitting in the parking spot, fully repaired. If not... try again. These are the rarest gang wars, possibly because they are also the easiest, if you're prepared. In addition to the initial convoy, reinforcements may show up, and will possibly use the same vehicle as the convoy target. This can make obtaining the convoy target vehicles much easier, but be aware this is a somewhat rare event. --------- Siege: Siege wars are when the enemy gang is gathered at a certain location. They do not drive around, and it plays much like normal siege missions in the main storylines of GTA games (attacking a fortress or building filled with enemies), except that not only can cops show up, but waves of reinforcements drive in (just like Cruising and Convoy wars). These are possibly the most difficult gang wars of all, and the second most common. --------- This will provide a list of each vehicle used, whether it is special, and if so, why it is special (if not already obvious). Note that sometimes, gang wars roll specific vehicles to appear, especially for the AoD. In a Siege war, they'll either use Gang Burritos or Slamvans, but probably not both. ================== 7.1 - ANGELS OF DEATH ================== These guys are one of the primary villains in the story of TLAD, and have the most diverse selection of Gang Wars vehicles, as well as special vehicles specifically. --------- Lycan (Special - some) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the AoD in most gang wars. Special variant: UJ Black w/ red teeth on wheels Description: The special version of the Lycan, a chopper-style motorcycle, driven by the AoD is a solid black bike, but with the teeth on the wheels painted red. This resembles the red and black tires on the Lost's special version of the Zombie motorcycle, driven by Jim and seen on the streets near the Clubhouse. Note that this Lycan is UJ during the Gang War, which is quite odd since no other vehicls in Gang Wars are. --------- Daemon (Special - some) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the AoD in most gang wars. One color is special, the rest are not. Special variant: Red Lustered Black Description: A black chopper-style motorcycle with white flames painted on the fuel tank. This also has a red luster to it, with the angles involved usually making either the front or rear half of the fuel tank and back of the bike appear red. Althugh it can probably be found in any type of war, I've only seen it in Siege wars. --------- Angel (Special - some) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the AoD in most gang wars. Two possible colors are special, the rest are not. Special variants: Orange (1), Red Lustered Silver (2) Description (1): This Angel is bright orange (bright yellow-orange on some screens), which is quite a unique color for it. Description (2): The other is a silver Angel with a red luster. The way lighting usually works, either the front or rear half of all silver surfaces on the Angel (mostly fuel tank and frame) will appear with the red luster noticeably present. --------- Gang Burrito (Siege) (Special) --------- This is used as one of the possible Convoy targets by the AoD. All are special vehicles (only available here, and in the story missions). The charcoal black color is found in story missions too, but all other colors are special. Description: Available in a variety of colors. All are special, although the charcoal black version is available in missions outside of Gang Wars. Some known colors are white/blue, and orange/black. These seem extremely rare, but appear in any level of gang war, whether number 1 or 100. --------- Slamvan (Convoy, Siege) (Special - some) --------- This is used as one of the possible Convoy targets by the AoD. One color is a special vehicle. Special variant: Blue/White Description: The special color for this is a blue top and a white bottom, making it the only dual-color Slamvan available. This color is available from both Siege and Convoy wars, although the former may be the best bet to get one, since in Convoy, it is the target. ================== 7.2 - RUSSIANS ================== The bane of the main story in GTAIV, the Russians are back with their trademark vehicles, including that special silver-grilled Schafter only found in story missions. --------- Rebla --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Russians in all gang wars. It is the standard black Rebla often seen around Hove Beach, which technically counts as a Russian gang car, even though the only difference between it and normal Reblas is the color. --------- Schafter (Special) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Russians in all gang wars. Description: These Schafters are black with black rims, but a silver grill, much like the Russian-used cars in GTAIV. Normally, this type of Schafter has a black grill, not silver. A basic Russian gang car that is special nonetheless, since the normal version (on the streets) has a black grill, not a silver one. This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Russians in all gang wars. --------- Phantom --------- This is used as the Convoy target by the Russians. It is black, but not thought to be special. ================== 7.3 - JAMAICANS ================== This is the gang Jacob and Badman were part of in GTAIV's storyline. They're not much different from the other gangs in terms of Gang Wars, but do use their distinctive green, black, and gold vehicles, often seen in Schottler. --------- Voodoo --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Jamaicans in all gang wars. There is nothing special about it, and it can be found on the streets in Schottler. --------- Huntley Sport --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Jamaicans in all gang wars. There is nothing special about it, and it can be found on the streets in Schottler. --------- Flat Black Comet (Convoy) (Special) --------- This is used as the Convoy target by the Jamaicans. This is a special vehicle. Read the "Convoy" description at the top of this section for a strategy on how to keep it. Description: A flat black Comet, which is not a normal color for the car. Contrary to a belief held for a long time, the color is NOT permanent, and a pay n' spray will randomize it, as with any other Comet. Sometimes, the reinforcements in a Convoy war will drive these as well, making obtaining one much easier. ================== 7.4 - ALBANIANS ================== The basic nemeses from early GTAIV, these guys pose as much of a threat as any gang does. Except there are no shitty beige Willards to be found. --------- Futo (Special) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Albanians in all gang wars. The only two variations of this are both special. Special variants: Red/Black Tuner (1), Bright red (2) Description (1): The first is a Futo GT (the tuner Futo) that is red with two large black stripes lengthwise on the body. The real interesting thing is the hood: it has a red panel sitting across it, partially on each black stripe. This seems very rare and unique. It also has red side skirts. This car is extremely rare, and may only be found in later wars (after #25 or even #50). Discovered by: MC_320 Description (2): A solid red Futo. This is not the tuner version, but is a bright red (characteristic of Albanian vehicles in these wars) that cannot be found randomly on the street or in a pay n' spray. Discovered by: serialnumberplate --------- Hakumai (Special) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Albanians in all gang wars. This is a special vehicle. Description: This resembles the tuner version of the Hakumai, but is a brighter red color than the tuner version is, and does not have open headlights or a spoiler. The black lower half of the car also seems to have a subtle red luster. Discovered by: serialnumberplate --------- Packer (Special) --------- This is used as the Convoy target by the Albanians. This is a special vehicle. Read the "Convoy" description at the top of this section for a strategy on how to keep it. The Packers used can be of any normal variety, however when found as the convoy target, the Packer can have a new design: a hybrid. The hybrid Packer has both the fuel tank AND car ramp on the back, giving a very strange appearance. The hybrid does not seem to show up as reinforcement vehicles. Special variants: Red/Black (1), Red/Red (2) Description (1): This is a large truck. First of all, the cab has a bright red upper half, and a black lower half. These are the usual Albanian gang car colors, as seen in their other vehicles, and unique for a Packer. Description (2): Similar to 1, except the other red has a slightly darker tone to it. Sometimes, the reinforcements in a Convoy war will drive these as well, making obtaining one much easier. Discovered by: serialnumberplate --------- Mule (Cruising) (Special - some) --------- These are very, extremely rarely used in Cruising wars by the Albanians. So rare that you could possibly go 50 or even 100 wars without seeing one. Special variant: Sideless Mule Description: This Mule is very special for one reason: the sides are invisible. Specifically, the sides covering the back of the truck (the storage area) are not present, allowing you to see the contents of the truck. This is possibly a texture issue (some "residue" can be seen where the sides should be). Either way, this vehicle is a rare as it is special. Discovered by: serialnumberplate ================== 7.5 - MAFIA ================== These are the same Mafia that played a large role later on in GTAIV (and TLAD). They even use the same vehicles, although no wars seem to have either the tuner or hybrid versions of the PMP 600's grill. --------- Sentinel (Special) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Mafia in all gang wars. Description: These are basic black Sentinels, not the Mafia's tuner version. They have a luster. It is either green or red. That is all. --------- PMP 600 (Special) --------- This is one of the basic vehicles used by the Mafia in all gang wars. Description: These are basic black PMP 600s, not the Mafia's tuner version. They have a luster. It is either green or red. That is all. --------- Stretch --------- This is used as the Convoy target by the Mafia. ======================================================== *8* VEHICLES NOT PRESENT IN TLAD ======================================================== These are vehicles that exist within the game's code, but do not appear in any way in TLAD. While vehicle discrepancies between GTA titles is hardly a unique occurrence, since TLAD is more of an expansion pack then its own game, vehicles not appearing in it I feel are worthy of note. I include background on what the vehicle is, and in what capacity it occurred in GTAIV on the off chance that someone is interested in exploring the game in search of it. Police Stockade ~This is a prison transport vehicle (akin to the Prison Bus, except higher security). It uses the same basic vehicle model as the Securicar and the Enforcer, except is white and blue. This was present in two missions in GTAIV, one serving its role as prisoner transport, the other as a blockade vehicle (Enforcers would have made more sense though). This is not present anywhere in TLAD, even in or near the prison (including in missions where you might think it would logically occur). Romero ~A basic hearse and a long-standing addition to the vehicle lineup for GTA. It was only present in one mission in GTAIV (used for its actual purpose - transporting a body to burial). It does not appear in TLAD, even parked or driven anywhere near either cemetery. According to Floris Ferwerda, this vehicle only randomly appears in traffic if you are already driving one, and since no missions in TLAD provide it, this vehicle has no way of ever occurring in the game. Tampa ~This is a car that is within the game's vehicle coding, but appears nowhere in the game itself. Looks similar to the Sabre GT. The car group it is coded into apparently does not work, and therefore this car cannot spawn on its own. ======================================================== *9* VEHICLES ADDED IN TLAD ======================================================== This is a list of vehicles added in TLAD that are not present in GTAIV. According to the game code, they are programmed to only appear in their "native zone," which unfortunately is unknown. It is likely the "native zone" for these vehicles was never set, causing them to only occur in missions or as a reward, near Johnny's safehouses. -Hakuchou Custom and Regina only spawn on the streets if you are driving one yourself. -Tampa, as its section name implies, exists in the game's code, but doesn't actually appear anywhere in the game itself. Fixed the Buyer's Market Gang Burrito entry to reflect it being UJ. 1.37 Completed April 7th, 2010. A few corrections to stuff (found some artifacts from my GTAIV guide, since I used the same format to save time). I've heard more evidence that the Gang Burrito is found (although very rarely) in gang wars with the Angels of Death. 1.40 Completed April 16th, 2010. Moved the version history section to the back of the guide. New strategy for the Gang Burrito in It's War (much easier), courtesy of MC_320. 1.41 Completed April 24th, 2010. GorgeousDre discovered a strategy that works for the Gang Burrito in Hit the Pipe! Also MC_320 discovered one possible way of getting an Annihilator in TLAD. Also gave Gang Burrito a proper Rare Vehicles entry, although still hesitant to remove it from unique/unobtainable sections. 1.42 Completed April 27th, 2010. Minor edits again. 1.43 Completed May 3rd, 2010. Bit the bullet and removed Gang Burrito as a unique vehicle due to being unwilling and unable to ignore evidence to the contrary any longer. 1.44 Completed May 5th, 2010. Added to the preamble, regarding different versions. Also added a parking spot note for Luis' parking spot being available in all versions EXCEPT the 360's DLC version. 1.45 Completed May 12th, 2010. Minor edits to a few things, and added a yellow-orange Angel to the list. 1.46 Completed June 11th, 2010. Found out the Infernus is actually a unique vehicle, due to appearing in one of Stubbs' missions only, and not actually present in any car groups in the game's data files. Also moved Annihilator to the unique vehicle section, due to it only being obtainable immediately prior to the final mission (except via cheats, which I don't count. Also added Malc's Double T Custom in his second random encounter which revs every few seconds no matter what. 1.47 Completed June 16th, 2010. Edited a few things and fixed a few errors. 1.48 Completed July 15th, 2010. Coen91 discovered the unobtainable crimson Diabolus in It's War is obtainable! Also discovered lustered Schafters in Politics, thanks to Coen as well. 1.49 Completed July 19th, 2010. Coen91 pointed out a few corrections for the guide, and discovered Brian's crimson Diabolus IS in This Shit's Cursed. 1.50 Completed August 28th, 2010. Coen91 found that the black Stretch in Diamonds in the Rough is lustered (always gold, too). 1.51 Completed August 29th, 2010. Corrected a few very small things. Courtesy of EKGene, a way to get the Annihilator at any time! This is a bit difficult to pull off, but works wonders, and works at any point of the game in GTAIV, TLAD, and TBoGT. Added a gang wars section to the glossary of terms, and modified gang wars vehicle sections to reflect this. Did a little research on gang wars vehicles, including seeing a Gang Burrito! Whoop-de-do. 2.00 Completed April 28th, 2011. Added a dedicated Gang Wars section to the guide, similar to the Drug Wars section in my TBoGT guide. 2.10 Completed May 1st, 2011. Changed my contact information, and improved the gang wars section some. 2.15 Completed September 2nd, 2011. I now own a copy of GTAIV Complete, allowing me to check into things on the EfLC version. I fixed the entry for Luis' parking spot in TBoGT in EfLC version: it visually exists, but does NOT store cars. Also added GTAIV and EfLC to the glossary of terms. Rewrote a lot of stuff (such as the About and the Parking Spot section). Decided the Huntley and Oracle in one of Stubbs' missions had a unique black color. 2.16 Completed September 6th, 2011. Added the black Laundromat found in Get Lost, courtesy of lol232. It is actually from months ago, but I just didn't get around to it until now. 2.17 Completed September 7th, 2011. Discovered that the black Laundromat in Get Lost is lustered! Also confirmed that now, apparently all versions reinstate your wanted level if you enter the prison after leaving, making these all but impossible to acquire. Also decided to rewrite the strategies of the hybrid grill PMP 600s in Collector's Item, just because. 2.18 Completed September 8th, 2011. Re-adjusted my info on the Get Lost vehicles (thansk to GTA Phreak), and figured out exactly why some people had problems obtaining them without a wanted level. Also realized the "call a Firetruck" trick just doesn't work. And finally, I managed to get both the Prison Bus AND a red lustered Laundromat back to a parking spot! VICTORY. 2.19 Completed September 19th, 2011. Added a section about an advanced strategy (having cops transport UJ vehicles for you). 2.20 Completed January 7th, 2012.
