This is what I will be doing for the next update [Out of date]:
     - Builds(including the different types, advice on what skills are needed,
and explanations of which is "best" for the reader) [Probably won't be complete
since I have not experienced all the guilds first hand myself!]
     - Level 1-70 Speed Leveling Walkthrough (for those who just want 70 VERY
fast)
     - Alchemy
                                 *** Notes ***

This guide is not a simple walkthrough as in it doesn't tell you exactly what
you have to do but I intend it to give you an idea of what to do. And how to do
it.

This guide goes up to level 70 ONLY for now.

In the guide there are some words and this is what they mean:
     - k - Thousand (e.g. 100k = 100,000 Gold)
     - Mill - Million (e.g. 1Mill = 1,000,000 Gold)

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

     Joymax has periodically released new servers to contain the growth of new
players. Characters cannot be transferred between servers. The maximum amount of
characters per person on a server is three.

     Joymax releases new servers from time to time to reduce stress on the old
servers due to a growing popularity for the game. Although if you have a
character from another server you cannot move it to a new server, or any other
server for the matter. This allows new servers to have a new populace, and
instead of level 70s killing Tiger Girl the level 30s can. Also the maximum
amount of characters per account on a server is three, therefore you can have
three characters on every server in total.

     This is the list of the current servers:

                           Server Name - Date Opened

                        Client Download and Installation
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

First go to the downloads page:
http://www.silkroadonline.net/dataroom/download.asp

In order to run the game properly you will need the latest drivers for your
video card and DirectX 9.0c (or above if available). You can get it by clicking
on the image with DirectX written on it. To download the client find the
appropriate image link and click on it.

On the downloads page you will also see links to manual patches. You don't need
to download those since the game will do so automatically when you first start
it.

Once you download the game client, it's time to install! Double click on the exe
file you got from the download and select "Install". The default installation
path will be displayed now along with the option to start or cancel the process.
If you don't want to install the game in the default location click on the
"Search" button and choose another one. After the installation completes you
should have a shortcut to the game on your desktop, if you don't or deleted it
by mistake you can get a new one by going to the installation folder, right
clicking on silkroad.exe and selecting Send To --> Desktop.

Launch the game, it should now autoupdate. Once the patch is downloaded the
Start button will appear. Press it to start playing.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

There are two ways to configure your client. Start the launcher and click
Options or log in with a character, press ESC and choose "Options". The Options
menu in the launcher is simple and only allows you to configure Resolution,
Graphics Quality, Brightness and Sound. If you use the one in-game though you
will have much more tweaking alternatives such as keyboard configuration,
drawing distance, graphics quality of single elements (water, shadows, etc.)

Start the game, choose a server from the list and enter your info.

Due to the increased interest in the game, the servers are almost always full.
You will have a hard time logging in sometimes. Just keep trying until you are
in. If it doesn't let you log in from a few retries then try again at a later
time. There are certain hours when the servers are not crowded you just have to
find the right time according to your time zone. New servers are getting opened
once every few months.

     When starting a new character you don't need to worry, because all that
your choices on the Create Character Screen won't affect your character much.

     You get to choose the sex of the character. Yes, most females in the game
are males in real life. Females look different from males, and the clothes they
buy look different from males.

     Now you choose your desired weapon, it won't be permanant, you can change
your weapon choice at a later stage in the game.

     Then you have to choose what clothes you want to wear. I'll give you a
small explanation of what each type is about.
     Armor - Has the most PHYSICAL defense out of the three, but the least
MAGICAL defense. It is ideal for Nukers(see build section for more info).
     Protector - Has balanced PHYSICAL and MAGICAL defense, as in that it is
inbetween Garment and Armor. It is ideal for Pure Strength Builds when in the
caves(because there are lots of high physical monsters in the caves) although it
is not to great when Pure Strength Builds are pvping (playing versus playing
fighting) against Nukers.
     Garment - Has high MAGICAL defense and low PHYSICAL defense, it is ideal
for Pure Strength Builds as it provides a lot of help when fighting against
magical monsters and fighting against Nukers in pvp battles.

     There are 3 main trees from which the builds branch of; Pure Strength, Pure
Intelligence and Hybrid(a mixture of Strength and Intelligence).

     When you level you get Stat points which you can put on Str or Int. Putting
it in Str gives you more physical damage and more hitpoints. Putting it on Int
gives you more magical damage and more mana points.

     As you may have guessed putting all your stat points on Str makes you Pure
Strength and putting them all on Int makes your Pure Intelligence. But what
about Hybdrid? As I said before it is a mixture of Int and Str. Hybrid is a very
difficult build, since you can make a VERY good hybrid or a very BAD hybrid. For
example a Int Hybrid will have mainly Int and a bit of Str, this character will
do less damage BUT will have more hp.

     Although this is the builds section, all the various builds and what skills
are required/recommended and more is under the skill points section as I think
it is best suited there.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

     Pure Strength Blader is considered by some as the "best" end game build.
Although this MAY be true I personally think its because Bladers easist to fight
with as you don't need to worry about strategies as much as with other builds.
You mainly tank (as in you have lots of HP and a shield so your defense is great
so you can let lots of mobs or players attack you and live).

     I would recommend you wear garment equipment. As that will be most useful
for you in pvp fights against nukers. As for skills this should give you an idea
of what you should aim for in skills for level 70.

     I found this article very interesting so I decided to include it in this
guide as I find it shines a lot of light upon the Hybrid guild. This article was
written by SuicideGrl from Silkroad Forums. This article will not follow my
pattern of writing as this is not written or changed in any way by me.

                        What exactly is a hybrid build?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

(from Webster.com)
hy' - brid: n. a person whose background is a blend of two diverse cultures or
traditions.

In SRO, there is a lot of talk about the "best" build(s). People naturally want
their characters to be strong, and preferrably as strong as - or stronger than -
everyone else. Many players on both the Korean and International servers have
come up with builds that are extremely good at what they do. Most of these
builds are "pure" builds: the player has put ALL of his/her character's stat
points into EITHER str OR int. There's no arguing that these characters are
killing machines and that, with the right gear and skills, they can own just
about anything they touch.

But what about the rest of us who want something different, something other than
a Xerox or cookie-cutter build?? One answer to this question is creating a
hybrid character. Hybrids, as you probably know, have put stat points in BOTH
str AND int. This approach has many advantages: it gives the character more HP
and more physical dmg than than a pure int character, and it gives it more MP
and more magical dmg than a pure str character. However, these boons come with
their disadvantages as well: hybrids will never have as much HP/MP or do as much
phys/mag dmg as their pure counterparts.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Why would I want to make one? Aren't "pure" builds better/stronger/faster/etc.?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Hybrids are the true utility characters. They may not excel in anything, but
they're good at virtually EVERYTHING. Hybrids kill fairly well in PvE and use
less pots than pure chars. They are good at all jobs and can have a very diverse
skill set. They are decent PvP charactrers. If you are the type of player who
likes ALL the elements of SRO and wants to be pretty good at all of them, a
hybrid build might be the one for you.

Besides, one of the main draws for me in creating a hybrid character was the
fact that it's different. I didn't want another pure str fire glaive. SuicideGrl
is unique, and it's one of the reasons I love her so much.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
          Ok, so I've decided to go hybrid. Now what the heck do I do?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Experiment. The beauty of being a hybrid is the freedom to choose different
skills, playing styles, and tactics that may or may not be the smartest way to
go for a pure character. Wondering how a certain buff will improve your game?
Get a few ranks in it. Curious as to whether you'd make a decent nuker? Throw a
few points at it and see. Curious as to what it's like to hunt with a bow rather
than the glaive you started with? Try it out, see what works for you. If you
make a mistake, you can always undo a rank or two, but ultimately the more
different kinds of skills you have, the more rich your hybrid experience can be.

There are three basic types of hybrids: 1:1 hybrids, in which the character's
str and it are kept as close as possible; "int heavy" hybrids, in which int is
favored above strength at a 2:1 or sometimes 3:1 or more ratio; and "str heavy"
hybrids, in which str is favored in the same way as above. Each of these
commands a different style of play. An int hybrid will be an effective nuker but
won't tank as well. A str hybrid will be able to load up their front end dmg but
probably should leave nukes alone. A 1:1 hybrid is probably the most
challenging, as they don't have any obvious strengths but also lack some of the
obvious weaknesses. Think about how you want to play and apply your stat points
as necessary. Also, remember that this build type is about experimentation. Feel
like your physical attacks need a boost? Pump all 3 points next lvl into str. Do
what feels right.

Important note: Being a hybrid is all about balance. That means your character's
physical and magical balances are KEY to your success. If you're going 1:1,
you're gonna wanna shoot for 75% or more in both physical and magical balances.
2:1 buils should shoot for 80%+ in their main stat and 70%+ in their sub stat.
Balances are tough to monitor, however. Every time you lvl, you automatically
get one point in str and one in int. this can change your balance, and you may
have to do something - add more points ot one or the other, buy statted gear or
alchemy some on, etc. - in order to balance it out. Remember, with teh new
alchemy system, it's possible to get +55 int and +55 str on your gear (+60 in
each of you're a blader/swordie, due to the shield), so high balances as a
hybrid are completely possible. it's probably doable to have over 90% in your
dominant stat if you plan carefully.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
                   What skills do I need to have as a hybrid?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Being a hybrid is about more than just how you spend your stat points. It's a
holistic style of play. Hybrids are the jack-of-all-trades of the SRO world. The
person in your guild who has maxed res? Probably a hybrid. The random person you
see grinding who's doing big dmg with both nukes and physical attacks? Almost
DEFINITELY a hybrid. But what about the trader you click on as he's trundling by
and see that he's lvl2 in ALL 3 JOBS? Even if he's a pure build, that guy's a
hybrid, in a manner of speaking. So is the guy in your guild who has maxed bow
AND spear skills. A hybrid can be thought of as anyone who doesn't specialize in
any one thing, but branches out to be a more broad character.

However, there are some very important skills to have if you're going to be a
hybrid. First of all, the motto of hybrid play is every little bit helps. You're
going to wanna think about geting every passive skill you can, especially
Heuksal's "Cheolsam Force" (which raises your HP) and Force's "Force Increasing"
(which does the same for MP). You're also going to want to max your imbue and
the appropriate buffs for your character (obviously a blade user doesn't need a
bird buff, nor does a glaive user need a shield blocking buff). For physical
attacks, concentrate on the ones that do the most dmg, as these will be your
most important skills for close combat. If you're an int hybrid, getting your
nukes and other ranged attacks as high as possible is also important. As before,
do what feels right. These aren't rules, just suggestions.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
                     What the heck should I wield and wear?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

As a hybrid, your choice of weapon should be based, again, on your preferred
style of play. Glaive/spear hybrids do big dmg, sword/blade hybrids have flashy
moves and the ability to block attacks, and bow hybrids can kill from afar. You
can even choose to use more than one weapon. A member of an alliance guild has
maxed his sword AND bow techniques and is deadly with both.

Armor type is another personal choice which depends a lot on style of play.
Armor is good for some hybrids because it reduces physical dmg, which is a plus
due to a hybrid's lower average HP compared to, say, a pure str. Armor is a good
choice for hybrid players who are mostly interested in PvE, since statistically
fewer mobs use magical attacks than physical ones. Garment reduces magical dmg,
which is a plus in PvP and against certain mobs. It also grants a MP usage
bonus, which is useful due to a lower average MP, and a speed boost, which is
useful no matter WHO you are. Protector gives the best of both worlds, in my
opinion. You get higher physical dmg reduction than garment and higher magical
dmg reduction than armor, while still retaining bonuses to MP consumption and
speed, albeit not as high as garment. Protector is, in my opinion, the ultimate
hybrid gear, as it truly is a hybrid itself. But as before, do what feels right
for your style of play.

WHATEVER you pick, you're going to want to chose gear that adds bonuses to your
stat of choice, or both stats when possible. SuicideGrl's gear adds a whopping
17 to her int and 7 to her str. 17 points of int makes her nuke as if she was
almost 6 lvls higher than she is. This is an amazing plus to any hybrid. if you
can find gear that adds to your stats at a good price (and sometimes a little
sacrifice is worth it), buy it. You WILL notice a difference in how effective
your character is.
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
So I wanna be a (nuker/tanker). Can I still do this effectively as a hybrid?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Yes. However, remember that "effective" doesn't mean "pwnage". SuicideGrl is an
int-heavy hybrid, and she DEFINIETLY puts up big dmg numbers. However, she'll
never nuke as well as a pure build will. She kills fast and efficiently and owns
in PvP, but that's only because I play her very smart. If you want to be
successful at a hybrid build, you're gonna have to engage your brain a bit
(sorry to all the mindless hack-and-slash types out there). Remembering that
your dmg and HP/MP are lower than a pure build means that you have to know your
character's own strengths and weaknesses and play around them. If you know that
you have a few really fast attacks that put up a lot of dmg, or if you know that
you have the ability to hit your opponent several times before he/she gets close
enough to whack you one, you need to plan your attacks around this strategy. If
you know you can take a few hits, then use this to your advantage. Anything is
possible if you're smart about it.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Hey SuicideGrl, what is your approach? What skills and things do you use?
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

As I mentioned above, SG is an int-heavy nuker. She was 1:1 until around lvl30,
and since then has been mostly 2:1. She's now lvl69, and her mastery lvl is also
69. Her balances are 84% mag and 72% phys. The goal is 90% mag 80% phys, or
higher. She's lvl3 thief (8%), lvl2 hunter (45%), and lvl2 trader (8%). Her main
forces are Fire (lvl59) and Lightning (lvl59), and her weapon is Heuksal, which
is lvl69. She uses a lvl64+5 int+5 str+2 crit 11 spear with 100% block parry,
40% AR increase, 100% durability increase, immortal+1, astral+1 and steady+2,
which will eventually be +7. She wears full 8th degree protector, all of which
is plussed and adds to her int and most of which adds to str as well. Working on
assembling a full SoS protector set. So far I have the boots. Currently, her
gear adds +43 int and +9 str, as well as 800HP and 950MP.

SG is a nuker. As such, most of my skills at this point are in pursuit of
massive magical dmg numbers. I have all 5 fire and light nukes: book 1 fire at
lvl 1 (delvled for lack of use), book 2 fire at lvl 9, book 3 fire at lvl 1,
book 1 lightning at lvl 9 (max) and book 2 lightning at lvl 5. I have lvl 3 book
3 (maxed) of the Piercing Force buff, which is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL for any int
build. My fire imbue is book 3 lvl 5. My most often-used skills are book 2 fire
and light nukes, Flying Dragon-Fly (book 1 lvl 1), Ghost spear-Marz (book 3 lvl
1), and Soul spear-Soul (book 3 lvl 1) and Truth (book 2 lvl 9 maxed). I use the
Flame Body-Extreme (book 3 lvl1), Speed-Piercing Force (book3 lvl 3), Hard Fire
Protection (book 3 lvl1), and Fire Shield - Flower (book 2 lvl2) buffs. My Grass
walk-Speed is book 2 lvl 1. I am immune to poison and zombie and am nearly
immune to lightning and ice. working on fire. I have Ghost Rebirth art (res) up
to lvl 59 (book2 lvl5). I use Large HP/MP pots and special universal pills.

I can kill any mob my lvl or under in 2 hits or less, almost always before they
get a chance to whack at me. In PvP, I can kill nearly any pure int on the
sierver who does NOT have SoS gear, and I can tank - if not kill - any pure str
for at least long enough to wait for help to arrive. I can kill some pure strs,
but not all, and some end up in a pot battle.

Hope this gives you some insight into SuicideGrl and my approach to her.

                         How do Prices vary for Items?
                         =============================

Prices for items depend on how much % more that stats of the item are than the
normal, the +'s and the blues on the items.

All Item prices depend on:
Demand (The more people who want the item the higher the prices)
Supply (The more people who sell the item the lower the prices)

For Weapons prices depend on:
Critical (The higher it is the higher the chance you crit on an attack and do
          double the damage)
Attack Rating
Attack Power/Magic Power (Attack Power is more important for pure str, and Magic
                          Power is more important for pure int)
Blues (The extras like +5 str, +5 int, Increased blocking ratio, etc...)
+'s (Increase the level of the weapon by ever +, so a Level 32 + 5 is equivalent
     to a Level 37 weapon)

For Clothes:
Defencive Stats
Blues

     There are many methods of getting to level 70. You must ask youself the
following questions:
     - Do you want to be fully farmed when you reach 70?
     - Do you want to have lots of money when you reach 70?
     - Do you want to find the fastest way to level 70?

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

     This way you will only really be able to level up 1 MASTERY TREE, which I
advise should be your weapons mastery. Also level up your element mastery a bit
(e.g. Fire/Cold or Light). DO NOT GET FORCE MASTERYS AS THIS WILL MAKE IT HARDER
FOR YOU TO LEVEL AS IT IS A WASTE OF SP(IN THIS CONTEXT)!

~~~ Level 1-5 ~~~
     Kill the mangyangs, since they will be easist to kill. Also with higher
levels you are able to do more damage to them therefore killing them quicker.
Resulting in more kills, therefore more loot, therefore much more money. Money
is very important at the start as you will find you will have a lack of it.
~~~ Level 6-10 ~~~

     Kill Old Weasels and Weasels. Would be a good idea to get "Battle with
weasel" quest from Jangan East gate soldier IYANG at co-ordinates (6664,1146).

Quest Info: Battle with weasel
     Kill 40 Old Weasels or Weasels (outside of east gate), return to him when
you complete it.
     Exp - 1,900
     Gold - 1,000

     This will help you get to level 10.

     Also do the Inventory Expansion quest.

Quest Info: Inventory Expansion 1
     Location - Jangan Grocery Trader JINJIN (Jangan 6498,1067)
     Requirements - Kill Mangyangs and help JINJIN collect Mangyang straw.
     Expansion - 10 Slots

~~~ Level 11-15 ~~~
Quest Info: Bandit Operation Map
     Location - Jangan Military Camp Soldier JUHO (6293,1301)
     Items - HP recovery potions
~~~ Level 16-20 ~~~

     Kill Bandits in bandit den.

Quest Info: Sweeping Bandit
     Location - Jangan Guild Manager LEEBAEK (6246,1206)
     Requirements - Kill 50 Bandits or Bandit subordinates
     Exp - 14,500
     Items - HP recovery potions X 50

~~~ Level 21-25 ~~~
     1. Is there anyway to get silk without real money?
     Answer: Yes, you can "make" money by doing surveys online or selling items
             on ebay. But these things can be time consuming and are never
             guarenteed to make you money, and you need to get "paypal" money
             because that is the best and easiest way (Visa credit card is also
             easy but that means spending real money) to buy silk. But apart
             from making money you CANNOT buy silk any other way.
     2. What are bots?
     Answer: They are humping the walls and trees everywhere on your server,
             they are KSing (kill stealing) your kill, they are ruining the
             game, and the bots are computers. There are two types of bots:
             player bots and gold bots. Gold bots just kill monsters with no
             skills and collect mainly gold (may have changed now) and player
             bots kill monsters to level up the player while the human is off
             watching his TV or with his girlfriend (or something which is more
             to do with a "life"). Botting is illegal to do in Silkroad Online
             although it is not illegal under the law (correct me if I'm wrong).
             Many people bot. It has also been rumoured that many free bots
             contain keyloggers (they steal your passwords). There are also
             paying bots too, kinda sad but true. I am not telling TO or NOT TO
             bot, but if Silkroad find out then your character WILL be banned
             and all the money (and hard work if any) will be lost. Also many
             botters have quit the game or gotten addictive to the bot and NOT
             the game, which costs them a lot of money.
     3. What is server disconnected and why do I get it?
     Answer: When you play the game since the game is "free" (to play, but you
             can buy premium items with silk) lots of people want to play it and
             this causes a lot of people to log on, and there is a limit to the
             number of people on each server (this is lower on NEWLY started
             servers but is raised as they grow "older") and this causes people
             to disconnect when logging in. But ingame you also disconnect if
             your client is too laggy, or you have high ping or if your in
             Donwang (tooooooo many people in Donwang), or if too many people
             are in the same sector (area) as you, among other things.
             Disconnecting is an annoying thing, but it has become part of
             silkroad now.
     4. How do you set up a stall?
     Answer: Press A then right click the stall icon, then enter the stall name
             and drag the items you want to sell from your inventory into the
             stall and set a price. Please find out what the NORMAL price for
             items are and investigate prices when you sell a high level (64+)
             or sos item. Also you need to OPEN the stall to allow people to
             buy.
     5. How can I set the client to window mode?
     Answer: Press the Windows key (in between the Ctrl and Alt key) and Alt
             then press Enter. And you should be in windowed mode.
     6. What happens when you get banned?
     Answer: They only ban your account and dont ban other accounts attached to
             your IP adress (unconfirmed).
     7. How do I delevel?
     Answer: To delevel you need to die multiple times.
     8. What does SOS do?
     Answer: It is 5 levels above the current level of your weapon. So the stats
             of the weapon are 5 levels higher than the level it says. So a SOS
             level 1 glavie would be equivalent to a normal level 6 glavie in
             stats, but you can weild the SOS level 1 glavie at level 1 and not
             wait until level 6 to wield it.
     9. What does hyprid int or strength mean?
     Answer: Pure INT is when you put all your stat points on INT and Pure STR
             is when you put all your stat points on STR. Hybrid is when you put
             some stat points on INT and some on STR, it is HIGHLY debatable on
             whether a Pure or a Hybrid is stronger.
     10. Can you lvl up equipment like lvl 1 glaive to a lvl 8 glaive?
     Answer: No, you need to buy a level 8 glavie. The only ways of "leveling
             up" a weapon are by using Weapon Elixers to add +'s to the weapon
             making it stronger (e.g. you can make a level 1 +3 weapon, by using
             weapon elixers). Be warned weapon elixers can fail like other
             alchemy, but weapon elixers will reset the +'s that have been added
             if they fail.
   Guide Related Questions:
     1. I have submitted information to you for this guide but you have not
        added it.
     Answer: It is most likely that I have added it to the guide or it is
             already present in the guide. If it is not present in the guide and
             is not for a week after your contribution please contact me (refer
             to Contacting Me section).
     2. This guide is not the correct guide for this game.
     Answer: This has happened before, I had submitted a guide I wrote for the
             previous version of the game (e.g. a guide I wrote for Dragon
             Slayer 1 or 2 was submitted for Dragon Slayer Gaiden). If you find
             this to be the case for this guide then please contact me (refer to
             Contacting Me section).
     3. I submitted some information and you have used it as your OWN
        information without saying I was the one that submitted it.
     Answer: There are two possibilities here. Either I had already added it to
             the guide before I found your submission, or I had added your
             submission but forgotten to mark it as yours and credit it for you.
             Either way I am very sorry, as I should credit you for any
             submissions you provide and I will do so if you contact me (refer
             to Contacting Me section).
     4. You have stolen my work. This is theft damnit!
     Answer: I highly doubt I have stolen your work, but if I have please feel
             free to e-mail me saying so and send a copy of your work as proof
             that I have stolen off you. And if I reject your claim then you
             should request for my contribution to be removed to CJayC through
             the Support Ticket (I think).
     5. I submitted some information before but now I want to remove it.
     Answer: My answer to this varies, if the information you submitted was a
             small peice of information like a item location then I will most
             likely not remove your contribution. But if it is larger (e.g. a
             analysis of the game mechanics or RNG system) then I will most
             likely remove it due to your request.
