      INTRODUCTION

I guess I'll be breaking the ice by being the first to FAQ a 3DS game. Although
I'm recycling my SSF4 FAQ, I'm gonna put more work into this one as soon as the
US version is released. I did import the JP version and have the JP 3DS so for
now what you see here aside from the recycled stuff is based on JP version.

Much like the first very Street Fighter was the first game for the Turbo CD in
the name of Fighting Street, Super Street Fighter 4 3D follows suit somewhat on
the newly released Nintendo 3DS (successor to the Nintendo DS). However, it is
not a pack-in game like its earliest ancestor. It is only a launch game. If you
have played Super Street Fighter 4 for the PS3, XBox 360 or the recent Arcade
edition, then you have an idea of what to expect from this game and then some.
That's right... SSF4 3D has its own unique features. More on that later.

During the normal acade game, you fight a total of 8 opponents. The first 6
opponents are fought at random then your 7th opponent is against a character
rival then the last boss is against Seth. There is also a potential 9th match
against Gouki/Akuma or Gouken depending on how you met certain conditions.

You can program 4 moves on the touch pad screeen to instantly do a move while
using Simple Mode. For the the advanced players, you can still use the touch
pads to perform set macros so you can program a super move with set motions in
the macros.

The ability to play in over the shoulder view and set it into 3D mode. It is 
labeled as 3D versus

Download Play - you can download the game without a cartridge from someone wuth
a cartridge and play. 2 players can fight each other like that but can only use
Ryu.

Figure Collection gives you the option to collect trophies and battle local
players with them.

There won't be a language option in this one. You are either gonna play the
game in English or Japanese depending on the region. Sorry!!

Network Mode loses Team Battle, Endless Battle, Tournament and Replay Channel.

The 10 colors for each charcter available at start.

Each character has a set of special moves in addition to the normal attacks
given to them. They are executed by moving the joystick in a certain sequence
and pressing the appropiate attack button. Sometimes, a character can perform
an extra move by doing a normal attack at close range.

Hurricane Kick (Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku)*: d, db, b + Kick
Air Hurricane Kick: d, db, b + Kick in air
-Hurricane Kick knocks down on impact
-The Air Hurricane Kick's angle can be altered by jump properties.
-EX versions knocks the opponent away.

-Metsu Shoryuken is more effective when hit up close but it can still multi-hit
if used as an anti-air but does less damage. Up close, it hits 2 twice in the
gut then a powerful uppercut.

-E. Honda lunges forward headfirst and heabutts opponent in the gut.

Sumo Smash (Super Hyakkan Otoshi)*: d~u + Kick
-E. Honda leaps into the air then crashes down in a seated position and crushes
the opponent.

Orochi Nage*: close, f, df, d, db, b + Punch
-Grabs opponent then sits on them.

-Backstep Rolling Arches over fireballs and can come up with some good crossups.

version of it juggles opponents and knocks them away.

Kikouken*: b~f + Punch
-Kikouken is a fireball that can dissipate if Light one is done from too far
out. EX version eats fireballs and can travel full screen.

Haruyama Kyaku*: f, df, d, db, b + Kick
-Haruyama Kyaku is something like a flipping axe kick.

-Zangief spins around with his arms out and it has high priority and goes past
fireballs.

Quick Double Lariat: All three Kick buttons simulatneously
-Same as above but faster and ends quicker.

Atomic Suplex*: close, 360 + Kick
-Zangief grabs opponent and does a Double German suplex.

Flying Powerbomb*: afar, 360 + Kick
-Zangief runs at opponent and will do a jumping powerbomb if he catches them.

-Zangief does 2 German Suplexes followed by a Screw Pildriver.

and giving them a Screw Piledriver

++Siberian Blizzard: 720 + All Kicks in air
-Siberian Blizzard is an anti-air Ultra that will beat any other air attacks and
that includes Dragon Punches and Flash Kicks

-Anti-air version of Yoga Flame

Yoga Teleport: f, d, df or b, d, db + all three Punches or Kicks
-Dhalsim vanishes then reappears in radom spot depending on motions used.

-Yoga Shangri-La takes Dhalsim to the sky and dish out damage to anyone he gets
with his extended arms with headbutts and a head to head noogie.

Dash Swing Blow*: b~df + hold Punch
-A wicked overhand that knocks opponents out the park.

Buffalo Headbutt*: d~u + Punch
-Made to be an anti-air headbutt that can jump over fireballs.

Turn Punch: Hold all three Punches or Kicks for at least 2 secs then release
-A spin punch that can deliver more damage the longer buttons are held.

-Executes 5 Dash Straights and can end with a straight or upper (if kick is

++Dirty Buffalo: close, 720 + All Kicks
Dirty Buffalo has him grabbing the opponent, headbutt them, stepping on their 
toes and a mean forearm shot.

-Does a German Suplex in the air.

Kamen Hokashi: f, d, df + 2 Punches

and and a swipe.

-Appears in one of four random spots on screen but leaves him vulnerable.
