Rise of the Argonauts New Trailers

Codemasters has released several new trailers for Rise of the Argonauts, an action RPG for major consoles and PC, in development at Liquid Entertainment and due to ship this autumn, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Rise of the Argonauts is set in ancient Greece with players leading a team of warriors - including Jason, Hercules and Atalanta - through a world ruled by mythological gods. Each of the gods - Ares, Apollo, Hermes and Athena - has his or her own skill tree that gives the player a flexible and dynamic system for acquiring skills and improving their character. Players will also be able to align themselves with a god by choosing the dialogue that best fits the god's unique disposition.

SourceForts v1.9.4 Released

SourceForts is a Half Life 2 Deathmatch mod where Combine and Rebels face off in capture-the-flag action with a big twist. Players build bases and other structures with blocks and plates in the "build phase" to protect themselves and their team's flag (which is actually a ball), and then fight it out and try to capture the enemy's flag in the "combat phase". Once the combat phase has ended, it's back to build, where players can repair, improve, and change their creations to ready them for the next combat phase. The latest version is now locally mirrored (thanks: Blues).

A new trailer from Red Faction: Guerrilla is now available, showcasing the third instalment of Volition's series, in development for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Scheduled to ship in THQ's fiscal year 2009, Red Faction: Guerrilla is a 3rd person, open-world action shooter set on Mars, 50 years after the events of the original Red Faction. Players will take the role of an insurgent fighter with the newly re-established Red Faction movement as they battle for liberation from the oppressive Earth Defense Force. Throughout their fight for freedom, players will carve their own path, wreaking havoc across the vast, open-world environment of Mars, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the gleaming EDF capital city of Eos.

Disney Interactive Studios has released a new trailer for Pure, showcasing this game developed by Black Rock Studio for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Pure features fast-paced quad racing with massive jumps and airborne tricks in photo-realistic settings all over the globe. Players start by choosing among a variety of male and female character riders. They can then either race against deft A.I. opponents or online players (up to 16-player multiplayer) in frenetic races and freestyle competitions all over the world.

Dead Space New Release Date
