Sonic and the Black Knight TGS 2008 Trailer and Screens

SEGA has released the first trailer and screenshots from Sonic and the Black Knight, a Wii game created by Sonic Team and due to be available in Spring 2009. Part of the storybook series of games that began with Sonic and the Secret Rings, this new title brings Sonic into the world of Arthurian legend and offers the worlds most infamous blue hedgehog the chance to become a knight.

Call of Duty: World at War Multiplayer Beta for Xbox 360 Begins

Activision today announced the launch of the multiplayer beta for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: World at War, a new first person shooter sequel in the works at Treyarch Invention, the studio which developed Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Call of Duty 3. Console players can guarantee themselves a token by pre-ordering the game at UK Game retail locations or online, on this page. Call of Duty fans that register to become members at the official website of the game are also eligible to receive a token, but these tokens are limited in supply. The multiplayer beta soon for the PC version will start soon.

Stargate Worlds Closed Beta Test This Week and Screens #11

FireSky today announced that the closed beta test for Stargate Worlds, the MMORPG in the works at Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, will begin this Wednesday, October 15th. New areas and archetypes will be added over the course of the play test until all features are thoroughly tested and bugs are found and fixed. Stargate Worlds will allow you to travel through the Stargate with teams of soldiers and scientists to locations where you can forge alliances, establish trade, investigate ancient mysteries, and defend Earth from hostile forces, such as the Goa'uld and the Ori. World of Goo Released on Steam

World of Goo, a physics based puzzle game developed by 2D Boy, will make its North American PC debut today, October 13, 2008 via Steam, Valve announced. In World of Goo, you may drag and drop living, squirming, talking, globs of goo to build structures, bridges, cannonballs, zeppelins, and giant tongues. The Steam PC edition of World of Goo will feature eight Achievements enabled by Steamworks, a complete suite of publishing and development tools available free of charge.
