First Person View
Medieval Lords: Build, Defend, Expand
First Person View

There is a rich amount of detail within Medieval Lords that the player should be able to see, not just from the god-like view when building the kingdom around you, but also from the villager point of view. The players should be able to marvel at what they created and see their cities how they are meant to be seen.

In the first person view, players can see all the little details that make the Medieval Lords maps look like real lands. Zoom down and look at the trees and you can see them wave in the wind, listening to the rustling of branches. You can even take a look at the stone structures at ground-level and players can see the shadows from the clouds passing over them.

Its not just natural objects with this amount of detail, there are a huge amount of little details that can be picked up in the players cites. Zoom down to the pig farm and as well as hearing them, you can see them running around the pen. Look at the entertainment block and players can actually watch the entertainment as it happens. It’s those little things that make the whole world believable and seem alive.

The first person view isn’t just for watching the world go by. It can also help with planning the building of the players cites. While the god view is good for laying down the buildings, the first person view can help to see if the land is too steep to build on, has natural defences against attack and will help in the expanding of your city.
