Need for Speed Carbon - Cops Racing
There are two distinguishing features that raises the bar for this years’ cops racing. Firstly, we’ve added something called Geography Heat. This feature provides more context as to why the cops would be present in one area of town over another. The more you race in one area of the city, the higher the heat level becomes, increasing the likelihood of a cop pursuit after you complete your race. There are 5 levels of Geography Heat; each offering different cop vehicles and tactics to be used against the player in escalating difficulty.
We’ve also included in this year’s game a feature called Dynamic Pursuit Breakers. Building on the success of the world objects being used as pursuit breakers in Most Wanted, players now have the ability to use moving objects like logging trucks or car carriers to interfere with the police during pursuits. This takes a bit of skill to perfect as you have to bump the vehicles in a way that won’t trap your own car.
