The introduction of SEGA Rally™ to the arcades in 1995 had the single biggest impact on the racing genre. Subsequent console rally games concentrated on a realistic simulation of the sport but their popularity, reflecting in sales, steadily dropped over the last decade. Now, SEGA Rally is back and set to reinvigorate the genre with the vital ingredients that many of the modern racers lack – fun, character and beauty, with few rally games able to match its unique and rewarding experience. Rally’s dead, long live SEGA Rally.
Tropical Environment
It’s a beautiful day in the SEGA universe and where better to race than through the lush green jungles of SEGA Rally. Players can jump behind the steering wheel of some of the fiercest rally cars and tear through the glorious jungle, race past ancient temples, exotic coastlines and through flooded paddy fields wearing nothing more that a grin from ear to ear. With mud flying everywhere and cars battling for position the Tropical location clearly demonstrates the unique track deformation technology of SEGA Rally. Within this environment, cars carve their way through the mud, sand and dusty tracks ensuring no two laps are ever the same.
