Rage Hard - Story
The story is set in year 2021, in a time when economic crisis led to famine, and famine led to riots. Followed by the police brutality and ever increasing corruption, it provoked the violent gang wars that have changed the society that we know today.
In such decaying world, player will assume the role of Lt. Jack Briggs, an urban warfare specialist, who is being stationed at The Barricades. Barricades is the name later given to a huge number of linked military bases and outposts that are forming a miles long border line. And everything that stretches south of this line is known as the Old City.
This vast territory, that was once a prominent part of a bustling metropolis, is now laying in ruins, abandoned and forgotten by the common people. Unofficially and under total media blackout, a war against the ganglords has been waged there for nearly ten years. Eventually, by time, the tensions dropped and it looked like the government is on a good way of restoring control.
But as of recent, the usual gang attacks became a lot serious, better coordinated and far more efficient than ever before. Amongst few other people, Jack suspects that a new criminal mastermind has appeared somewhere deep in the heart of Old City. Seems that he has managed to unite the rival gangs, and now has enough firepower to break through the Barricades. Jack knows that this threat is very real, and that somebody should do something before it is too late...
