The Mercenaries theme is fully loaded with new enemies, buildings, weapons and hazards including barbed wire, machetes, explosives and shotguns. It even has an 8-barreled minigun. Everything you need to make a game with real firepower.
Square Enix and Bigpoint have released the first video from Rune Vendler, the Game Director of Gameglobe. The video sees Rune guiding users through Gameglobe, its different levels and showing off the type of content the game allows users to create. As I'm sure you know Gameglobe is a free, online, creative action-adventure game that allows players to enjoy thousands of unique user created games as well as allowing them to also create their own games as well.
In the video, Rune highlights that the game allows users to "create their own experiences and toy with making levels" and players can "share it with the world and everyone can be playing your levels as well". It is, as Rune goes on to mention in the video, "easy to forget that all of this is just running in the browser"' however, more than anything Gameglobe is a game "the community helps define".
Gameglobe's versatile tools make it quick and easy to make your own games from the comfort of your own browser. All you have to do is select from innovative tools and start shaping the environment how you want before picking from a long list of props. Start with something simple and before you know it you'll be creating increasingly more complex and crazy games to share with your friends.
And don't forget this is all free to play. You'll be able to pick from several unique games at launch, create your own, and share them with everyone. If you want to get your chance to try out the beta then make sure to register your interest on gameglobe.com.
