Activision announced today an exclusive Xbox LIVE online entertainment network weekend for Guitar Hero World Tour. Starting November 27, 2008, players 14 years of age or older will be able to participate in a number of online activities to determine who is truly the top Guitar Hero rocker. Gala-Net today announced the release of new content for Tales Runner, a free-to-play online racing game developed by Rhaon Entertainment with various types of racing modes. The first chapter of release focuses on the Monsters Attack theme. In addition, Tales Runner has added some new maps and over 100 new items (check full story for details). In celebration of the imminent release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Capcom announced the "Season of Street Fighter" which will feature an assortment of Street Fighter-themed downloadable content (DLC) packs, music inspired by Street Fighter, and newly revamped digital destination points for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network. The Street Fighter UNO DLC pack will feature new Street Fighter Command Cards with signature Street Fighter power moves, as well as backgrounds and music inspired by Street Fighter. Sumthing Else Music Works today announced that Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway Original Soundtrack, featuring the original music score composed by Ed Lima and Duncan Watt, will be released to retail outlets through Nile Rodgers’ Sumthing Else Music Works record label on November 25th. Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway Original Soundtrack features the dramatic and emotionally poignant symphonic score composed by Ed Lima (Prey, Doom 3) and Duncan Watt (Need For Speed: Pro Street). As in the previous Brothers In Arms games, no music is featured during gameplay. Instead the score is focused on supporting the story and accompanies the cut-scenes and menus in the game. The music was recorded with the FILMharmonic Orchestra and Choir at the prestigious Dvorak Hall of Rudolfinum in Prague.
