Ubisoft today announced that Prince of Persia has been approved for manufacturing and will be available on December 2, 2008, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, in the same day with Prince of Persia: The Fallen King for DS. Developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio and the same team that created the previous Prince of Persia Sands of Time trilogy, Prince of Persia is opening a new chapter in the Prince of Persia universe, featuring a new breed of gameplay, as well as a new illustrative art style.

Turbine has released a new trailer from The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria, showcasing this expansion now available for all The Lord of the Rings Online subscribers. Mines of Moria expands the online world of Middle-earth with two new classes, ten additional levels and hundreds of new quests. Players will be able to explore the ancient underground cities of the dwarves, battle epic characters in the depths, face off with the Watcher and be a part of the fateful release of Durin's Bane.

Midway has released a new trailer from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, showcasing this game now available throughout North America, for PS3 and Xbox 360. Developed by Midway Amusement Games, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is a game in which, for the first time ever, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and the Mortal Kombat warriors battle with Batman, Superman and other popular DC Universe Super Heroes. You will choose your side and challenge your opponents with a new fighting system including Freefall Kombat and Klose Kombat along with dynamic multi-tiered environments. Plus, you can pick your favorite character from MK or DCU and pursue a fighting adventure in the new single player mode with an intertwined storyline and two unique perspectives.

Spellborn International today announced that The Chronicles of Spellborn EU Beta will start tomorrow, November 22nd and will end on Monday, November 24th. We'd like to agree with them, if only the whole EU would have been accepted. It seems though that only residents of certain countries can apply. Check the press release to see if you're in or not. Frogster Interactive has unveiled additional information about the seventh game world area from Runes of Magic, a free-to-play MMO with over 600 quests embedded in an atmospheric world, six main classes, unique skills, impressive combo attacks and mounts in the later stages of the game. Players can choose from six main classes when starting into a new online career. According to individual preferences, they can select to play a warrior, ranger, cleric, knight, mage or a rogue. When a character reaches level 10, the player can select a secondary class, which augments the possible class combinations up to 30 individual combination types. TikGames and Creat Studios announced a partnership for the development of three downloadable titles, scheduled to be available via PlayStation Network this winter. The line-up includes Magic Ball, Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom and Cuboid. Magic Ball is developed under license from Alawar Entertainment and features 3D graphics along with 40 levels and both local and online multiplayer modes. Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom is the first mahjong game available via PSN featuring lots of gameplay modes and hand-illustrated ancient Chinese tales. Last, but not least, Cuboid is a 3D puzzle game in which players navigate ancient ruins and lush environments, maneuvering a mysteriously marked cube through holes to reveal hidden treasures.
