As they are usually sold for around 220,000 credits, it's really difficult for brand new players to raise that kind of money, so the game’s developers have significantly improved the starter ships for all three novice piloting professions. Starting craft are now upgradeable with better components and come standard with a hyperdrive for faster adventuring throughout space. Brand new and active players with Jump to Lightspeed will receive a 75,000 credit bonus automatically added to their accounts to aid in the purchase of high level ship components.
