Jason Hayes, the lead composer of
World of WarCraft, informed us that he is starting a new album of original music compositions, with a unique concept that involves members of the gaming community in a special way. At the heart of this concept is a contest for creative short-story writers, who can sign up on the official “Music By Jason”
website and submit their stories for possible inclusion in the project. Ten winning stories will be selected, and Jason will compose a piece for each that dramatically tells the story with music - submissions are being accepted now. Jason Hayes won the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) award for “Best Cinematic / Cut-scene Audio” two years in a row.
