CDV Software Entertainment announced today that famed actor Peter Weller, best known for his work in such films as Naked Lunch and Robocop will be the voice of Jeffrey S. Wilson, the Codename: Panzers, Phase Two's cigar-smoking, butt-kicking, turpentine-drinking American hero. CDV also revealed that Hollywood writers David Freeman and Joe Reinkemeyer are developing the storyline and character dialogue for the game - Freeman and Reinkemeyer's credits include work on Law & Order, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Full Monty. The WWII real-time strategy game will offer dozens of new missions, three factions (Anglo-American Allies, German-Italian Axis and the Yugoslavian resistance), 20 new combat units, hundreds of fully destructible objects, new battlefield environments and a selection of new heroes to lead armies on the battlefield. The mission editor will allow players to edit and create missions, maps, units and cut-scenes.
