Midway sent us new screenshots from the PS2 and Xbox versions of Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, the game which marks the rebirth of the legendary Gauntlet franchise. Lead by industry veterans John Romero (Doom, Quake) and Josh Sawyer (Icewind Dale), developed by Midway's San Diego studio, Seven Sorrows is scheduled for release on the PlayStation2, Xbox and PC this winter. Seven Sorrows is the fusion of fantasy fighting action with the strategy of user-friendly RPG elements, a very beautiful storyline and a new fighting system. The E3 2005 movie can be found here.
