Lighthouse Interactive has released two playable demos for Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches, a first-person, point-and-click adventure with a Celtic atmosphere developed by Arberth Studios of West Wales. This is a first-person, point-and-click adventure deep rooted in Celtic mythology, following the present day haunting of a lonely teenage girl named Rhiannon, as she unwillingly enters a world filled with supernatural phenomena, magic, and legend.

Square Enix has announced that The Last Remnant, an action game powered by Unreal Engine 3, has shipped across all PAL territories, exclusively for Xbox 360. In The Last Remnant, a vast, war-torn battlefield is scarred by years of conflict. Countless enemies surround the player, who is backed up by his own army. Threatened by numerous foes and saved in the nick of time by allies, players will feel the true tension of a soldier on the battlefield. In The Last Remnant, as many as seventy units will duke it out at once in fierce yet beautiful battles. Two new gameplay movies are now available.

Codemasters announced today Colin McRae: DiRT 2, an off-road racer sequel in the works at Codemasters Studios and schheduled for 2009, for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PSP. Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will feature a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to the most diverse and challenging real-world environments. This World Tour will have players competing in aggressive multi-car and intense solo races at new locations, from canyon racing and jungle trails to city stadium-based events. Powered by the third generation of the EGO Engine, Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will benefit from tuned-up car-handling physics system and new damage engine effects. It will also showcase a spectacular new level of visual fidelity, with cars and tracks twice as detailed as those seen in Race Driver: GRID. PopStar Guitar features a single player Career Mode and two-player Co-operative Mode, along with single player and multi-player mini-games. The game takes the player on a musical journey that starts with forming a garage band to playing at 25 unique venues and eventually performing in the worldwide "Battle of the Bands" contest. Twelve playable characters are featured in the game and can be customized to give the band its own unique look.

Atlus has announced that it has secured the North American publishing rights for TrackMania DS, a racing game developed by Scottish studio Firebrand. Just like the PC version, TrackMania DS will offer an amazing track editor that will let you create your own unique tracks from hundreds of different design blocks, giving the game near-infinite replay value.
