Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. sent us a new movies from NBA ‘06, a title that introduces a number of feature firsts, including a behind-the-scenes, all-inclusive story mode and an entirely new game design where a player’s talents on the court dictate their ability to manage teammates and even the crowd. The video highlights a few of the 16 total mini-games and drills players will encounter in the game. All mini-games and drills, including new entries such as claim the post and shout out, can be played as stand-alone games and are each a vital part of completing The Life story mode. NBA '06 has also incorporated all-new new game design, with updated graphics and player models, as well as a new shooting mechanic, tandem animation technology, and extensive move set.
