Aspyr Media, Inc. announced that Stubbs the Zombie, the third-person action game developed by Wideload Games, willl be released for PC and Xbox next week. Powered by an updated Halo engine, the game is set in a fictional "City of the Future" in 1959 - the main character is Stubbs, a zombie in search for revenge through a 21st century metropolis, who can spread zombie love, possess unsuspecting humans or use his body as a weapon. To complement this theme, the tracks are new versions of songs made famous in this era, with the exception of the zombie inspired original track "The Living Dead" by California's Phantom Planet. Stubbs the Zombie will be released by THQ in Europe.
