Compelling new PC title arriving on store shelves in U.S. and Canada in June 2006
Cinemaware Marquee, an affiliated label of eGames, Inc. announced that it will soon be bringing Introversion Software’s PC game Darwinia to North American retail shelves - it will be available for $29.99. As an added bonus, the game will include an exclusive poster and collectible figurine. Darwinia is a virtual theme park that exists inside a computer network built by a technology genius named Dr. Sepulveda, populated by sentient, evolving life forms called the Darwinians. Unfortunately, the systems of Darwinia have been overrun by an out of control, evil red Viral Infection. Your task is to destroy this disease and save the Darwinians from extinction. The game recently won three 2006 Independent Games Festival Awards at the Game Developer Conference, including the Seumas McNally Grand Prize for Best Independent Game, Innovation in Game Design award, and the Technical Excellence award.
