Eager gamers cause nationwide shortages of Atlus’s latest handheld RPG
Atlus has announced that immediately following the Japanese release of Etrian Odyssey virtually every last copy has been plucked from store shelves. In this RPG for DS, known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan, you are able to make your own maps with the Touch Screen and tweak your progress through the labyrinth, drawing walls and placing icons to note special events, treasure chests, doors, pits, stairs and landmarks. The game also features nine character classes, turn-based combat and 3D graphics. Etrian Odyssey is currently scheduled for American release in May 2007.
