Capcom announced the summer release of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, a new version of which incorporates the control functionality of the Wii Remote, and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, a new game developed for the Wii and scheduled to be released at a later date. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles tells the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3, as well as a few new ones, such as Umbrella’s stronghold.
