Harmonix today announced that 18 Grateful Dead songs will be included in Rock Band. a game where you and your friends will be able to play famous songs as a band, using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals. The game will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 during holiday 2007 in the U.S. and in Europe in early 2008. Rock Band will also feature tracks from other artists signed by EMI Music, Hollywood Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group's Universal Music Enterprises and Warner Music Group's Rhino Entertainment.
