Lighthouse Interactive and VSTEP have announced that New Horizons, the add-on to Ship Simulator 2008, has reached Gold status and is due to ship at the end of March in the Benelux, the UK and Scandinavia. Release dates for other European countries and North-America are to be determined. New Horizons offers new highly realistic environments and adds eight new vessels for your sailing pleasure. It also includes 20 all new missions and free roaming multiplayer mode. The add-on will require the original game to run and will automatically upgrade any version of Ship Simulator 2008 with all previous updates and patches.
