JoWooD has issued a new patch for their business simulation, Industry Giant 2. The patch (v1.3) improves CD drive compatibility. "Players without drive scanning problems (copy protection) do not need this patch".
Another patch is also available for the 1980-2020 addon, bringing it to v2.1. This update deals with the current problems concerning "the overseas port and the storage tool tip" (which could cause the program to crash). The patch also improves CD drive compatibility (copy protection!) and deals with several minor problems.

IGII original version 1.3 without add-on
This patch improves CD drive compatibility. Players without drive scanning problems (copy protection!) do not need this patch! This patch includes a new enginetest.exe for all players having problems with identifying the available screen resolutions.
IGII add-on patch for version 2.1
This patch deals with the current problems concerning the overseas port and the storage tool tip (which could cause the program to crash). It also improves CD drive compatibility (copy protection!), deals with several minor problems and includes a new enginetest.exe as well. We would recommend all add-on owners to implement this patch. This patch includes no new additional features!
