Codename Gordon FAQ: What is "Codename: Gordon" ? It is a wacky Jump 'n Run Game inspired by Half Life 2 and created using Flash for programming and Photoshop for the graphics. Who are the masterminds behind this project ? They are Warbeast who is doing the graphics and X-Tender who is responsible for the Flash coding. Why are we doing this ? We are huge Half-Life fans and can't wait for the release of part 2, so we decided to make our own little HL2 inspired game in our spare time. How much is it going to cost ? It is going to be completely free and available for download on this site, when it is done. Our goal is not to earn money with this project, but people to have fun playing our game. When is it going to be released ? When it's done. Before Half Life 2 though. Can I have a beta version ? No, we've already selected people for testing it, so don't bother us about wanting to be a tester. Did your game will have a Multiplayer/Cooperative Mode? No! Why the heck are you using Flash and not another more suitable language like [insert programming language of choice] ? Because Flash is what we're best at and you can do more then anoying buttons with it, although a lot of people don't know that. I'm a damn good [insert programming language of choice] coder, can I help you ? No, we decided to use Flash and that's what we're gonna do. I'm good at x, can I help you ?
