Our gallery has been updated with 6 new screenshots for True Fantasy Live Online, showcasing this upcoming cel-shaded MMORPG in the works at Level-5. True Fantasy Live Online will be released by Microsoft in 2004, exclusively on Xbox.
True Fantasy Live Online is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game for the Xbox, in which hundreds of players can interact, socialize, and adventure together to gain wealth and fame in a living fantasy world online. True Fantasy Live Online immerses players in an anime-inspired fantasy world, where they can fly through the air on broomsticks, don the armor of royal knights and do battle with ferocious monsters, or even lead the simple but satisfying life of a cook, who feeds brave adventurers. Features: * A massively multiplayer online roleplaying game like never before: True Fantasy Live Online was built from the ground up to support the Xbox Live service. True Fantasy Live Online is one of the first online roleplaying games to fully support voice communication through the Xbox Communicator headset, enabling players to interact, build alliances, and band together to fight enemies. * A living fantasy world: The world of True Fantasy Live Online is made up of vast and varied environments, including bustling cities, lush forests, dark dungeons, and exotic desert regions. Over time, all-new locales will become available via Xbox Live downloads. * Fantasy travel: Players explore the game's vast world on foot or astride horses, camels, broomsticks, or even dragons. Large groups will be able to cover long distances by carriage or ship. * Intense, collaborative combat: Friends can gather for adventures across dangerous landscapes or into the depths of ancient tombs and labyrinths. They can use a dazzling array of weapons and spells against hordes of creatures and gigantic monsters. * Unique career paths: Players have many ways to make a living, including joining a guild and completing quests to earn rewards and increase their skill level. Guilds are set up for adventurers, treasure seekers, and manufacturers such as cooks and tailors. * Customizable characters: Players can customize the appearance of their character—for example, face shape and lip color—and the equipment they carry. And, characters change as a result of the players' actions. For example, if a player doesn't feed his character enough, the character will grow weak and thin. Should a player choose a career as a blacksmith, her character will grow burly arms, but will not be able to run as fast as other characters.
