The Emperor'™s Tomb Manual Errata/Updates
-----------------------------------------
Using the keyboard, you can slow Indy'™s movement to a walk by
pressing and holding down the key while moving in any
direction.
It is now possible to turn Indy with the mouse while swimming.
Still hold down the spacebar to swim forward. You can turn with
either the mouse or the normal movement keys.
A player can also use the mouse to climb ropes. The left mouse
button climbs up, and right climbs down.
The user can now access Indy'™s inventory using the wheel on a
wheel mouse. Simply spin the wheel to scroll through inventory
items and click the wheel to put the selected item into Indy'™s
hand. There is no way to put items away using the mouse wheel.
It is also possible for a user to access inventory using the
number row. Each key of the row has a preset inventory item.
These keys cannot be rebound.
1 - Fists, no item/weapon
2 - Whip
3 - Handguns (revolver, Luger, Masuer)
4 - Blades (machete, Turkish knife)
5 - Machine gun
6 - Spear gun
7 - Grenade
8 - PaCheng
9 - Canteen
If you have an item in Indy'™s hand you cannot switch to the
machete or Grenade by pressing 4 or 7. You must put the item
in his hand away first.
Note that these commands do not work with the Numpad, only the
regular keyboard numbers.
In the Display options, you may choose to turn off shadows. This
may help with performance for some less powerful computers.

Game Control Issues
-------------------
Windows hotkeys are currently still working in the game, but can
cause instability and are not supported. It is strongly advised
that the user not use such Windows commands as +,
+, +, or the Windows key. These commands can
be particularly unstable after the user has changed in-game
screen resolution.
It is possible in Indiana Jones and the Emperor'™s Tomb to rebind
multiple functions to the same key. While this can be
advantageous, it can also lead to key-maps that make the game
unplayable. If you find that your new key bindings are unplayable,
simply restore the defaults.
