Nocturnal today announced the upcoming release of Flowerworks for the PC, a game which combines puzzle, exploration and action elements in an addictive, explosive adventure. The player takes the role of Follie, an alien gardener who crash-lands on an unknown planet. Horrified by the planet's lack of style, she brings it to life by recovering her Flowerwork seeds, growing flowers and terraforming the planet into a bright, vibrant world. Far Cry 2 Goes Gold

Ubisoft today announced that Far Cry 2, the first person shooter sequel developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio, has been approved for manufacturing and scheduled to ship in North America on October 21 and in Europe on October 24, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. In Far Cry 2, you are a gun for hire, trapped in a war-torn African state, stricken with malaria and forced to make deals with corrupt warlords on both sides of the conflict in order to make this country your home. You must identify and exploit your enemies' weaknesses, neutralizing their superior numbers and firepower with surprise, subversion, cunning and of course brute force.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Hell March Trailer

Electronic Arts has released a new trailer from Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, showcasing the RTS game in the works at EA Los Angeles for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Red Alert 3 promises to break new ground in the RTS genre by featuring a fully co-operative campaign while bringing back the series' light-hearted style and classic, action-oriented gameplay.

SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation gives players the opportunity to battle against the best and brightest from the U.S., Europe and Asia. Additionally, players are able to modify their appearance through facial and physical customization. The game features seven North African environments, including a 32-player version of the most popular SOCOM map of all time "Crossroads".

Electronic Arts also announced that Littlest Pet Shop, a game targeted at girls of age 6 - 12, is now available for PC, DS and Wii. In Littlest Pet Shop, the player will spend most of her time exploring her Pet Shop and earning Kibble Coins as she plays in either the free play mode or in mini-games. Kibble Coins will buy her over 100 accessories for her pets as well as tons of playsets for the 2008 toy-line.

Electronic Arts has announced the development of a Space stage expansion pack and Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, add-ons that will grow and evolve Spore, the latest game developed by EA Maxis. For the first time, players' space faring creatures will be able to beam down from their spaceships to explore new planets and earn rewards for completing challenging missions. A new Adventure Creator will allow players to build and share online their own custom missions, providing almost endless gameplay possibilities.
