Independent developer Nucleosys today announced Scratches, "a gripping first-person mystery adventure game that will keep the players glued to their monitors, with its story full of breathtaking twists and surprises, until the final shocking revelation." NEW MYSTERY ADVENTURE GAME ARRIVES NEXT YEAR BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - October 31, 2003 - Nucleosys are proud to announce their upcoming game set to be released in late 2004. Scratches is a gripping first-person mystery adventure game that will keep the players glued to their monitors, with its story full of breathtaking twists and surprises, until the final shocking revelation. Its combination of inventory based and deductive style puzzles carefully integrated with the storyline, along with the possibility to freely roam the house, will immerse the players in the haunting atmosphere. Scratches will take place in a beautifully crafted Victorian house but the players will also have to look for the key to the mystery in a huge garden with the mandatory crypt, a long-time abandoned greenhouse and a gloomy chapel. Lush graphics will bring the environment to stunning life. In conjunction with this press release, Nucleosys are making publicly available an interactive teaser as a means to introduce the players to the story. The teaser is also intended as a showcase for the FX that will be present in the final game. It can be downloaded from the Nucleosys homepage at http://www.nucleosys.com Scratches will be available next year for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP platforms* in both English and Spanish languages. A release for Linux and OS X platforms is also planned but not scheduled. (*) NT is currently not supported by the teaser
