SAVAGE: THE BATTLE FOR NEWERTH GEARS UP FOR NEW BETA TEST
S2 Games and iGames Publishing Announce New Round of
Savage Beta Testing for Upcoming Game Additions
Hoboken, NJ (November 3, 2003) - Developer S2 Games and
iGames Publishing today announced that registration has
begun for a new round of beta testing for Savage: The
Battle for Newerth. Testers will be asked to play and
evaluate the first in a series of free major content
updates for the hugely popular online multiplayer game. To
sign up, please visit
http://beta.s2games.com.
This first round of the new Savage beta test will include
new units and structures, new network code, new upgrades,
patches and enhancements. The developers are seeking
experienced Savage players as well as those who have not
yet tried out the game in order to compile a broad range
of opinion and suggestions. Anyone who was in the previous
beta test must register again.
Set in a unique fantasy world eons from now, Savage
transports PC gamers to the next level in multiplayer
gaming. The result is a truly unique gaming experience
that enables the player to opt for either the fast-paced,
run-and-gun action of a FPS (playing as a Warrior) or the
more cerebral and tactical planning of a RTS (playing as a
Commander). Because Savage offers fully developed aspects
of each genre, players must work together as a team in
order to defeat their opposition. The full game includes
both the Human and Beast races.
Players who want to experience the excitement of Savage
can join the thousands of people who have downloaded the
demo online at Happy Puppy, FilePlanet, and GameSpot.
Savage: The Battle for Newerth is available in retail
stores nationwide and has an MSRP of $49.99. The game is
rated "T" for Teen. For more information on Savage: The
