2K Games has announced that Sid Meier's Civilization V, the latest Civilization sequel developed by Firaxis Games, is now available at retail outlets across North America. Built on a new engine, Civilization V features an entirely new combat system, deeper diplomatic interactions, an intuitive interface, improved diplomacy, in-game community hub, advanced modding tools, and more. A playable demo has been launched today on Steam.
