In the distant frontiers of space, civilization is maintained by large allied force well beyond the reach of Earth. The aim is conquer and defend distant planets for new civilization. The crew of the commercial starship MBK-03 has been alerted to investigate a distress call from an allied planet. After landing on your ally?s planet, Lexus, the crew (you) discovers that the signal is actually a warning. It was the warning to abandon the planet. But it is too late to turn back and the terror begins when you first encounter an alien during your investigation. Defend your allied planet from an alien raid, the encounter ? this is your mission! You are all alone in a mission to battle it out from the far reaches of the solar system. You are the hotshot crew from the allied force. Everyone is relying on you to secure the planet. This is difficult since most of your allied forces from a distant galaxy have been destroyed. Do you have the guts to confront it? In this top-down arcade shoot?em-up, you must gather up all your courage to defend yourself and defeat the enemy, the aliens. Alien Raid is an exciting sci-fi action combat game for everyone. ================================================================== GAME PLAY ================================================================== [Single Game Mode] · Select this option to start a new single player game or load a previous single player saved game. · There are total of 45 missions. Each mission is individually scripted for different game play. · Each player begins their early missions with default weapons. Later, a player has a chance to acquire additional weapons by shooting down the supply icon dropped by UMBK (Allied Supply Ship). Weapon upgrade is also available during the game by shooting down additional supply icons from UMBK. · Once a player has successfully defended their bunker from a massive alien attacks, there will be a monitor slid down from top of the interface with a captain of UMBK congratulating and recites next mission. (New game) This starts a new game for the current player profile. (Load Game) This loads the most recently manually saved games. (Top Scores) It displays recent top scores. (Auto-save) While playing through the game, an automatic save file will be created at the beginning of each section. This option will load the last auto-saved game. [MultiPlay Game Mode] · Select this to host or join a multiplayer game on the Internet or through LAN connection. · Supports up to 4 players. · More aggressive attacks than in Single Mode. · No cut scenes. (Your Name) The name entered here will appear in all in-game text that applies to this player, including chat, transmissions and score section. This defaults to the current profile name. (New Game) Enter new server name to host a multi-player game and then click "Create" button to select a game level. Once all players are ready click "Start" to begin the game. (Server Name) Select to join Multiplayer sessions of Alien Blast on the Internet by clicking ?Join? button. Once selected, you will be presented with the Game Name and Game Level. Click ?Start? to enter the game. (New Server) Searches for active Alien Blast servers on the Internet. When this process is completed, the list of found servers will appear in the window. Click on a server in the list to join that game. [Options] · This option allow you to modify many aspects of the game, such as key mappings, display settings and game options. [Credits] · View game credits.
