Strategy First has also released a new patch for the North American version of Europa Universalis 2 Conquest Pack. This patch "fixes the problem where when you try to save a game, EU2 crashes and gives a save error." It also includes a few more updates (read full story for details).

The Conquest Pack patch fixes the save problems with Europa Universalis 2.
- This patch includes the previous patch that allowed you to save games.
- This patch allows you to use the same race as you where using when you originally saved the game.
- It also adds the ability to change to a different race from a saved game when it is first applied.
- However, all new saves will be locked to the proper country after the patch is applied.
- This patch is for the Conquest Pack: Europa Universalis 2 only.
