Gearbox and Bungie have released another update for Halo: Combat Evolved, bringing their sci-fi action shooter to v1.031. This release "provides many options to allow servers to automatically prevent players from repeatedly killing teammates, by setting thresholds for automatic temporary or permanent bans, and limitations to the amount of damage teammates can do to each other. This update also includes a number of other new options and improvements."

- Fixed the crash on startup bug relating to the intro movies.
- Anisotropic filtering is now NOT on by default.
- Saved games prior to 1.03 are now no longer compatible. Any levels that were unlocked as you progressed through the game are still available, but your checkpoints will be reset.
