July 16, 2001 - Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) today announced that Max Payne, the highly anticipated action PC game from its GodGames publishing subsidiary, has gone gold, indicating the product has been completed and will begin being manufactured. Developed by Remedy Entertainment and 3D Realms, Max Payne is expected to be one of the biggest PC games this year and will ship to retailers in the company's Third Quarter ending July, 2001.
