SEGA has released a new video from Conduit 2, a new first-person shooter developed by High Voltage Software for Wii. Conduit 2 takes players to the far reaches of the world to stop an alien invasion which can be fought in single-player, online multi-player battles, and all-new off and online co-op modes. The game introduces Team Invasion Mode, a co-op mode where players will be able to battle side-by-side with up to four friends on the same screen. A new movie is now locally mirrored, highlighting some of the weapons players will have at their disposal in the game, including: the Hive Cannon, which shoots a swarm of insects that explode on contact; the Aegis Device, which allows players to use their enemies own ammo against them; and the AR-C Eclipse, a gun that can render its user completely invisible. Previously scheduled for February 2011, Conduit 2 is set to hit the store shelves on April 19th 2011.
