"Ascension to the Throne" is a "classic" turn based strategy game with RPG elements, that takes place in a fairy tale fantasy world. The player will have to go through a hard road of battles and losses, acquire new friends, defeat the enemies and return the seized throne, having again become the omnipotent king - wise, valiant, and courageous. Many centuries passed since the founder of the ancient kings dynasty, Illiar, ascended to the throne of Eden. Glorious were these time - times of prosperity, times of free happy life, without burdens and concerns. But everything passed, everything changed at once: enemies, who attacked unexpectedly and perfidiously, very rapidly took the royal keep. Garrison was instantly killed, members of the ruling family - executed. Fear and horror arrived to Eden... But the hope, seemingly lost forever, returned: a powerful incantation, casted on the prince of Eden by the dying court magician, saves his life. He was sent many thousands of miles away, into foreign lands, where he came to - without friends, without army, without money, without everything he was proud of, what he liked and valued. Prince came face to face with a hostile, strange country. But he was alive, and he wan't deprived of neither will nor reason. Will the young hero have enough strength and courage to find his native land, and after finding - to retake it again? Will he be able to return the throne seized by the enemies, after returning the light of happiness and life to Eden? Who knows...
