SCi today announces that it has granted exclusive North American publishing rights for Conflict: Vietnam, the next game in the Conflict series, to Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Conflict: Vietnam will be published in Europe in September and North America in Autumn 2004 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. Read the press release for more details.
North American Publishing Agreement Signed for Conflict: Vietnam 16/02/2004 - SCi, one of Europe’s leading publishers of computer games, today announces that it has granted exclusive North American publishing rights for Conflict: Vietnam, the next game in the highly successful Conflict series, to Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (“Take-Two”). Take-Two has committed to a marketing programme and will provide SCi with a guaranteed advance against royalty payments based on sales. Conflict: Vietnam will be published in Europe in September and North America in Autumn 2004. It will be available on Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and PC. Worldwide shipment of Conflict: Desert Storm and Conflict: Desert Storm 2 now exceeds 2.5 million units. Conflict: Desert Storm was originally released in September 2002 and Conflict: Desert Storm 2 was released in September 2003. Both games achieved the number one chart position in the U.K. charts. Take-Two is one of the world’s leading game publishers. In addition to Conflict: Vietnam, Take-Two has published other SCi games, including Conflict: Desert Storm, Conflict: Desert Storm 2, The Great Escape and The Italian Job in North America. Japanese publishing agreement for The Great Escape SCi is also pleased to announce that the Japanese rights to its best selling game, The Great Escape, have been signed to Japanese publisher Marvelous Entertainment.
