The War of the Worlds Announced

Other Ocean Interactive sent out a press release announcing that The War of the Worlds, a 2D action-adventure in development at Paramount Digital Entertainment, will be released in summer 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Players follow the exploits of an unknown man struggling to escape the Martian invasion of London and rescue his family. Forced to think through insurmountable odds, players will outsmart an army of alien tripods and other menacing war machines as they make their way through a landscape of total devastation. The title will be showcased for the first time at the E3 Los Angeles (7-9 June).
