Countdown to Conscription Begins
Created by independent game developers Max Gaming Technologies, Dark Horizons: Lore (DHL) puts you in the Dark Horizons Universe. Crammed with fast-paced, extreme action, Dark Horizons: Lore puts you in command of the 22nd century’s finest achievement, the Mechanized Assault Vehicle, or MAV. Remotely piloted from control pods scattered across the globe, these giant war machines are bristling with the latest plasma rifles, cannons and missiles possessing more individual firepower than a modern tank regiment. Pilot a single MAV or gain experience and take command of a MAV group or even an entire battalion and fight with your friends as a unit.
Now in the final stages of beta testing DHL is getting ready to being conscripting recruits for the Faction War to come. The game is about to begin...
"As independent game publishers and developers we're passionate about making games that exceed our fans expectations," comments Jay Moore, GarageGames Evangelist. "Dark Horizons Lore is a persistent universe, and though not a Traditional MMO, the gamespace will grow as the player and factions wars warrant. We're going to offer the initial release of the game to players at an early adopter price of $24.95. From this release we will work with our players to bring new features into the mix. We have several additions planned for the near future including, news MAVs, new weapons, more sectors maps, additional game-type options and will continue to update until we reach our 'Gold' release."
Max Gaming is committed to building this game over time and will release new maps every few weeks for the first couple of months, to coincide with the growing player base, along with evolving the persistent storyline, through the action of the players. Things like mixed tech, tech improvements will be based on how well each faction is doing, we will make it all part of the story.
