Lower Price for Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo of America announced today plans to drop the suggested retail price of its portable Nintendo 3DS system to $169.99 in the United States, as new games head to the system: Star Fox 64 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus: Uprising. The new price, down from the suggested launch price of $249.99, will be effective starting August 12, 2011.
