Before we go any further though, we feel that it is important to point out that Dark Horizons Lore is the culmination of over a year's worth of unfunded development and hard work by a talented group of independent game developers. We have worked hard to try to provide the type of game that we wanted to play and see, not just in the independent games market but the retail AAA market as well. So it is suffice to say that as far as independent games go, Dark Horizons Lore is one of the largest and most ambitious productions done in recent years, especially when you factor in that the game is playable not only on Windows, but also on Macintosh and Linux as well! What you see before you is the initial 'Early Adopters Release' of Dark Horizons Lore. This means that it is the first retail release that we have planned for the product. As the weeks go by we here at Max Gaming Technologies inc. fully plan to supplement and enhance the 'Early Adopters Release' by providing additional content and enhancements, free of charge, as the community and the persistent on-line campaign of Dark Horizons Lore grows and evolves. There are no gimmicks or strings attached here, we simply want to provide one of the best gaming experiences possible to all the gamers out there.
