Take 2 has issued another patch for Hidden and Dangerous 2, bringing this squad-based tactical shooter sequel by Illusion Softworks to v1.05. This update adds a new multiplayer map named Normandy2B_mp_zone (in fact, the original Normandy2_mp_zone with some new rooms and entrances), vehicle behaviour code and chat improvements, bug fixes and more. Fixes and update notes for this patch are:
- Map Normandy_mp has been updated.
- Added map Normandy2B_mp_zone which is similar to original Normandy2_mp_zone with some new rooms and entrances.
- Map Normandy2B_mp_zone added to maplist.
- Crashes whilst chatting (when a player has been in the player screen and typed a message) have been fixed.
- Players can now use chat messages even if they haven't spawned yet.
- Vehicle behaviour code improvements.
- Code improvements for people with lower pings.
- Fixed the occasional non-respawning bug.
- Several other little fixes.
