Amped Labs has released the first trailer from Burger Wars a fast action, multiplayer online, first person shooter (FAMOFPS), offering two minutes and twenty seconds in-game footage (funny song). Scheduled for release in Summer 2004 for PC, Mac and Linux, Burger Wars supports 3 game types, Team Death Match, Capture the Flag and Assassinate the Clown, and it can handle up to 64 players per server. The players charcters are stored on the server, creating a persistent serverside charcter that can learn and grow, and gain experience and rank, and new and more powerful burger weapons. In the year 2033 two competing burger franchises, McBozo and Burger Clown are in an all out global war as they battle for supremacy in o­ne of the worlds last free market enterprises that still employs human workers. Team based play tactics are involved and 3 game types, Team Death Match, Capture the Flag and Assassinate the Clown are supported. Its runs on PC, Mac and Linux. It can handle up to 64 players per server, and its spoof humor is a guarantee for some side splitting laughter.
