You may remember a while ago, Cinemaware announced to the world it would be porting some of its classics to GBA. Well come March, Wings, Defender of the Crown & The Three Stooges will arrive.
Personally, the AMIGA classic, Wings was something I played time and time again. The Cinemaware website has screenshots of all these new beauties :)
The following exerts are from the Cinemaware website and can be read in full accompanied by screeshots, by following the link at the bottom.
"In The Three Stooges, Moe, Larry and Curly are coming to the small screen – literally! Join those zany masters of mirth as they quest to save an old lady and her three beautiful daughters from the clutches of an evil banker! With 30 days to collect $5,000 and save an orphanage, the Stooges will have to work together to save the orphans through pie throwing, prizefighting, and medical madness, all performed in the Stooges’ classic comedy style!"
"Wings requires the player to fill the shoes of a rookie WWI pilot, green from inexperience yet eager to take flight and begin what could be a fantastic -- and legendary – career to become a knight of the sky. With the help of wingmen and comrades, players must battle their way up the ranks in over 200 increasingly challenging missions! Strafe armies, bomb enemy aerodromes and match wits against the deadly German aces like the Red Baron in a test of aerial skill and accuracy in deadly 3D dogfights. Or, in a completely new addition to this classic franchise, play as a German ace and show the Allies what the Flying Circus is really made of! Only one pilot can truly own the skies!"
"Perhaps the most popular of all Cinemaware franchises, Defender of the Crown pits the player against the evil Normans who are intent on invading and taking over England. Competing on tournaments of joust, epic castle sieges and swashbuckling swordfights, the player must make use of dexterity and strategy to find the Crown of England and wrestle power and dominance away from the scheming Normans. Originally released in 1986, Defender of the Crown enjoyed worldwide success on many platforms, including the NES, having sold over 1,000,000 units across a variety of formats. The addictive gameplay of the original is making a comeback in both enhanced and entirely new gameplay modes, and is ideal for the GBA system, taking full advantage of the hardware’s capabilities."
