  • SEGA Europe Ltd. and Sports Interactive sent out a press release announcing they obtained the licences from the North American-based National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) - these agreements give Sports Interactive the right to use all of the official names, logos and images of all teams and players in their NHL Eastside Hockey Manager.
  • Sigil Games Online announced that original EverQuest designer Ryan Palacio has accepted the position of Senior Game Designer to begin work immediately on Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
  • Windows XP users can now download an exclusive screensaver for Ubisoft's Myst IV Revelation from here, announced Microsoft.
  • Games Workshop and Climax Entertainment informed us that Warhammer Online will be showcased at E3 2004 in booth #2676, West Hall.
  • BlueSpark Communications announced that MonsterGecko will show at E3 2004 the PistolMouse FPS, "an ergonomic, pistol grip, multi-trigger PC gaming mouse designed to give players a competitive edge in first-person shooter games".
  • According to Computer Gaming World, the June 2004 issue, Sony Online Entertainment is reactivating accounts for anyone who has ever played Planetside before for one week starting the 17th May: "It doesn't matter whether you quit or not - you'll be able to sign in and play for the entire week"".   • MDDM announced they will show at E3 2004 the first product from the Fatal1ty line of professional gaming products, including the Fatal1ty/PWX system and a motherboard and graphics card created by ABIT Computer Corporation. Last year, leading gamer and three-time World Champion Gamer from the Cyberathlete Professional League, Jonathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel, signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Auravision, a computer peripheral developer to make "the ultimate gaming computer system a reality.".
